The Diary Game||Date:04-09-2026||A Day to Remember

I want to write a Daily Diary Event about yesterday. I hope everyone will enjoy my writing story.

Yesterday was a weekend holiday, so there was no rush to wake up early in the morning or get ready for the office. I slept quite late & finally woke up around 10.30 in the morning. After getting fresh, I received a phone call from one of my university friends. He told me that, some of our university friends were getting together & asked me to join them. I agreed & told him that, I would be there.

After the call, I sat on the balcony with my wife. I had a glass of coffee & a cigarette while enjoying the morning. The sky was very clear & blue, & the weather was unusually pleasant. Sitting there quietly with my wife, looking at the clear sky, I felt that it was going to be nice day.

Before getting ready to go out, I went to the grocery store & brought some vegetables for the coming week. Then I came back home, took a bath, & got ready for the get together. Around 1 PM, I left home by rickshaw. I took the usual route through Dhanmondi, Jigatola, Science Lab, & Elephant roads towards Bata Signal. The roads were almost empty compared to normal days, probably because it was a weekend. The quiet roads made the journey quite enjoyable.

I reached at Bata Signal at around 1.30 PM & met some of my old University buddies. It was a really good to see them again. We spent the afternoon talking, joking, remembering our universities days & enjoying our time together. There was nothing extraordinary about the gathering, but being together with old friends after a long time made it special.

As thy evening came, we went up to the rooftop. The sunset was beautiful, & the whole atmosphere felt peaceful. We sat there with a guitar & a bess guitar & started singing together. For a while, it felt like we were back in our university days again. No office pressure, no deadlines, just a bunch of friends enjoying music & each other’s company.

We stayed there until around 10.30 PM. Eventually it was time to leave, so we said goodbye each other & headed home. I reached home at around 11.30 PM & taken another shower, got fresh, had my dinner & finally went to bed.

Returning Home

Looking back, It was a simple day, but sometimes this simple days are the one we remember most. A relaxed morning, some time with my wife, a quiet rickshaw ride through the city, & an evening with old university friends made the whole day feel special. Afterall It was a wonderful weekend.
