Ghuksir Beel Naogaon Dhamurhat
Assalamu Alaikum, how is everyone doing? I hope everyone is well. Alhamdulillah, I am also doing well. I am here again with a review question.
One day we went to Rangpur with friends to visit the bill (wetland) located in Dhamurhat, Ghunshi, Naogaon district. A few friends and I went on a tour there. Today we will beautifully present and showcase this bill to you all. So, let's get started. ...

Now I’m going to share with you all the full experience of going from our house to that place. We had planned to go on a trip on Friday, and this plan had been set for a long time, so we got ready early. Even before Friday, we had breakfast early in the morning. We took the road from Mokamtala to Joypurhat, and we all gathered in front of Kalai police station in Joypurhat district. From there, we moved a little forward and took some empty selfies and group pictures. And from here, our journey towards Naogaon district will start, about 46 km of road we need to cover. After that, we checked how the pics turned out, and we all got ready. Now we'll start the bike ride, and I’ve uploaded the pics below.

Then we started our bike ride following Google Maps. On both sides of the road were green trees and winding paths, and my friends and I enjoyed the ride while making our way to Naogaon. Once in Naogaon, we stopped briefly at a small tea stall and then continued towards Bille Dhamurhat.
The roads were not as easy as we had thought; they were quite rough and challenging. We carefully maneuvered through high roads and low-lying areas, where even a small mistake could have caused us to fall into a ditch. Alhamdulillah, Allah protected us. Finally, after such a long journey, tired and worn out, we were blessed with the opportunity to see the beautiful creations of Allah’s nature.
We reached the much-awaited spot, surrounded by green scenery and boats on the water.

You must be curious why such a beautiful wetland has such a strange name. We asked the people around, and from chatting at a tea shop, we heard the full story. Why does this pond have this unusual name? The place is situated on a large piece of land; it's a wetland, but in many low-lying areas, it gets submerged in water during the rainy season. You can see in the top picture how beautiful it looks when the trees are submerged underwater. The pond is called Ghukshir Beel. The name comes from a woman in the '90s who got involved in some bad activities with a few men. Since then, the locals gave the place this disgraceful name, and it has been known as Ghukshir Beel ever since. After that, with all the unknown information, we rented a boat. We set off to the middle of the wetland in the boat and chatted a lot with the boatman uncle, learning more about its history. All of us friends had some fun in the middle of the boat, took pictures, and enjoyed the beauty of nature a lot.The beautiful, quiet environment was thrilling, which made the day even better for me. In the middle of the bill, we handed over some pics we took to the boat we were sitting in.

Then we went to the middle of the bill, and there we all took a bath and had a lot of fun. The place was very beautiful, like a garden, situated in the middle of the water, surrounded by greenery, which made it thrilling. We all enjoyed it a lot and bathed there, floating around. The surroundings had a light breeze, people were boating, some with family, some with friends, and everyone seemed to enjoy it. Since we went on a Friday, which is a holiday, there were more people than usual. I captured joyful moments with my friends below and shared them with you all. Please let me know how you liked them. I hope you will enjoy them too.

After finishing our bath, we went back to the middle of the bill, to the quay with a boat. It was much more beautiful than we had imagined, and we had a lot of fun. You could say it was a small Rata-Ragul, like Sylhet's Rata-Ragul. Those who have gone there might understand. This was a small review of our day-long tour. I hope you liked it, and definitely let me know. I’m going to wrap up today’s money here. We’ll meet again in another good post, review, or diary game. The three of us brothers went with six friends. I hope you understood. Everyone stay well and healthy. Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu.
