You might have guessed from the picture above that this might be a picture of some auspicious event or a religious occasion. Yes, indeed, today I will share that in our Muslim religion, there are two Eids in a year. The first Eid of the year is Eid-ul-Fitr.
Since it was a holiday, I was at home. When my mother called, I woke up at dawn. Since today was Eid, I took a bath early in the morning. After bathing, I was to share the joy of Eid with my family by wearing new clothes. I had bought new clothes for everyone and handed them out so they could wear them. I also wore my new clothes. Then, I enjoyed my mother's delicious semai (vermicelli) and pulao. After finishing the meal, we set off for the Eidgah field to offer the Eid prayer. My younger brother, my dad, and I walked step by step to the Eidgah field and found our rows to sit in.

After sitting in Qatar, Imam Sahib led the prayer, and I started listening to the sermon as an audience member. After a long month of Ramadan, our Eid day finally arrives, and everyone is very happy. All the people gather together to perform this prayer, and when everyone comes together for the prayer, it feels really joyful. We really love this religious aspect of our lives.
Then quietly, I focused on listening to the sermon. I paid close attention to the Islamic advice about charity and fasting. Imam Sahib was delivering the sermon, saying that on the Day of Judgment, Allah Himself will reward the fasting people; SubhanAllah, hearing this made me very happy because I had fasted 30 days. May Allah grant me that reward and also grant reward to those who witnessed it. Amen. I captured a few moments of the sermon and some pictures of the worshippers, which I am sharing with you all.

After finishing the important discussion, it was time for prayer. The Imam called everyone to perform the prayer. Then we all stood together, and the Imam explained everything beautifully. We got ready for the prayer, and with six Takbirs, we completed our Eid-ul-Fitr prayer.
After that, the Imam delivered the sermon in a beautiful, mesmerizing voice. We listened very attentively and quietly prayed for our family and loved ones, as well as for all those relatives who have passed away. Then, after finishing the Eid prayer, we offered our thanks and prayers, and met with everyone—friends, brothers, and all acquaintances, giving hands-ups.
It was wonderful to see everyone after a long time. The joy of being together after such a long gap was immense. This kind of gathering doesn't happen often. We took some photos with everyone to capture these joyful moments for memories.

After sharing the joy of Eid, we bid farewell to everyone and wished them Eid greetings, even inviting them over for Eid Mubarak at home. After giving everyone our goodbyes, we headed home to share the joy with the family once again.
After wandering around the market for a while, we eventually arrived at the village. The little kids in the village were reveling in the excitement of Eid, and seeing them made me really miss my own childhood. After a while, my younger cousin sister ran up to me and said, 'Bhaiya, give me Eid greetings!' I felt so peaceful inside as my little sister greeted me, and I returned her greeting. Her face also showed signs of laughter and jubilation. After exchanging the greetings, I picked up a small treat for little Moni.
