INTRODUCTION

Hello Steemit Family! Welcome to Another Episode of my Series "Music Review with Luvboii".❤️🖤

I love how far we have come with this Series, and I want to appreciate everyone who upvoted my previous post. This is just the foundation of something big I'm about to build.

Today has been a great day as usual. I felt so excited while streaming songs from Both A-list and upcoming Afrobeat artists. I love exploring different Artists sounds when it comes to listening to music and music production.

Don't forget I'm a producer too. That's why I feel you'll love this episode so much because I'll be rating these songs from Both a listeners perspective and a producer's perspective Stay with me!

SONGS I WILL BE REVIEWING TODAY

Today I will be reviewing Songs I streamed on my playlist. First song I'll be reviewing today is MCBH by Asake off his Album Money, "Bank on it" by Burna boy off his Album Twice as tall, "My Ability" by Lady Donli. "Break of Dawn" by PARTY WAVE and Forrest Frank, "Unhinged" by Masego. "Shabang" by Drake.

M.C.B.H by Asake

I felt so excited streaming this song. It's such a a beautiful masterpiece and has so much potential of getting nominated for the next Grammy Awards.

The production is top-tier. The producer really cooked on this record. Asake and the backup female singer did very well too. The song is a cool, mild Afrobeat record blended with R&B and Amapaino. The soothing melodies and Piano Chords make you want to play it Over and Over again.

The female backup singer did magic on That track. Her voice sounds heavenly and gives the song serious replay Value. I'll rate it 9.9/10

Bank on it by Burna Boy

I felt emotional listening to this record. It somehow relates to my Life. Burna Boy explains the hatred that comes from people when they sense greatness and progress in you. He talks about human being unkind nature.

I felt he was lonely and that many people were trying to destroy his image and reputation. That's why he said in the line "So forgive me if I fumble, cause I'm only human". He also prayed to God for protection against his enemies and his neighbors.

This is a solid song from Burna Boy reminding himself of who he is and not letting the noise from his environment get to his head. Rating 9.9/10.

My Ability by Lady Donli

Lady Donli brings such a warm, soulful vibe on this one. The production is very intimate. Her voice floats over the beat with so much Confidence and Calm.

Lyrically, it's about self-belief and knowing your worth. As a producer, I love how minimal the Instrumentation is it gives space for her vocals to shine. This is the kind of song you play on a quiet evening to remind yourself that you're enough. Rating 8.5/10.

Unhinged by Masego

IMG-20260710-WA0028.jpg

This track is pure vibes. Masego blends Jazz, R&B and Afrobeat elements smoothly. The saxophone make it feel classy yet playful at the same time.

From a Producer's view, the drums and Bassline are super clean and bouncy. Lyrically he talks about losing control because of love/attraction. It's catchy, mature and has that replay value Masego us known for Rating: 9.2/10.

Break of Dawn by PARTY WAVE and Forrest Frank

IMG-20260710-WA0025.jpg

Ohh, here comes my Favorite track. This is a gospel song by two incredible artists. It doesn't sound sorrowful like most gospel songs. Both artists experimented with R&B pop and Dancehall Sounds, and it sounds so smooth.

The guitar Chords sound heavinly and Gosh, their vocals were on Point❤️ you can feel the joy and gratitude in the song. Rating: 10/10.

Shabang by Drake

"Shabang" is Drake in his playful, melodic bag. The beat is light, bouncy and very radio- friendly. He's talking about Lifestyle, flex, and relationships but he delivers it with that effortless Drake melody.

As a producer, I like how clean the mix is. The 808s hit hard but don't over power the vocals. It's not his deepest song, but it's definitely one you'll vibe to. Rating 8/10. That's all for Today's Episode Thanks for reading 😁 see you in the next Episode. ❤️
