Visit any restaurant, cafe, or food court near you throughout the week and create an interesting and informative report based on your experience at that food place.

Hopefully, you have understood the main purpose of the competition by looking at the title. Now read the rules given below carefully and start participating accordingly.

Remember, a beautiful, original, informative, and attractively presented report will not only win the hearts of the readers, but will also greatly increase your chances of doing well in the competition.

You can follow the techniques below to create an unbiased, informative, and credible review report of restaurants, cafes and food courts.

Review reporting techniques:

1) First introduce the place

✔ Name and location
✔ What kind of food is available
✔ Specialities of the restaurant/cafe/food court

2) Tell us about your experience upon entering

✔ How does it look from the outside
✔ How does the atmosphere feel after entering
✔ Is there enough seating space or not?

3) Look at the environment and decoration

✔ Interior design
✔ Lighting and furniture
✔ Suitable for family, friends or sitting alone
✔ Is there a nice place to take pictures or videos?

4) Give a review of the food

✔ What kind of food did you order?
✔ Taste and smell of the food
✔ What does the food look like
✔ What is the quantity?
✔ Was the food hot and fresh?

5) Compare prices and quality

✔ Estimated price of each dish
✔ How is the quality and quantity of the food compared to the price
✔ Is it possible to eat on a low budget?

6) Observe the service

✔ The behavior of the staff
✔ How long does it take to take the order
✔ The speed of serving food
✔ How do the staff solve any problems if there is a problem

7) Look at the cleanliness

✔ Are the tables and chairs clean or not
✔ Is the floor and environment clean No
✔ Whether the food serving area is clean
✔ If there is a washroom, you can also mention its condition

8) Add your personal experience

✔ Which dish did you like the most
✔ What did you dislike
✔ Family members/friends' feedback
✔ Would you like to go there again

9) Plan the shots if you are making a video or vlog

✔ Exterior signboard
✔ Entrance
✔ Interior
✔ Food preparation scene, if allowed
✔ Close-up of the food
✔ Service
✔ Your dining experience

10) Finally, give a short rating such as:

Including these points will make your review report richer, more realistic, and more engaging for readers.

✔️ The report thumbnail image should be meaningful to the location.

✔️ You must add a selfie of the reviewer or provide a proof photo with the username on paper.

Example:

✔️ When reporting on a specific topic, important points should be mentioned.

✔️ You must add a review video within 1 to 2 minutes. (For Example, YouTube)

✔️ Your post must have a location pin on Google Maps & SteemAtlas.

✔️ Add your own captured photos & videos. Any language is accepted.

✔️ You must write a report about the place you visited, including at least 7-8 clear photos.

✔️ Avoid reviewing places that are previously pinned on the Atlas map.

✔️ You must create a report of at least 400 words.

✔️ Of course, the images must be your own. Images taken from AI and source-linked sources are not acceptable.

✔️ Reports must be created following all Steem-atlas rules.

✔️ A summary table should be provided on the topic of the review.

I sincerely request that you do not stop at just publishing your own reports, but also read the reports of other writers and encourage them through constructive comments. Your valuable comments can inspire a writer to do better. It is specifically informed that if you make meaningful and constructive comments on the blogs of at least 3 different writers, you will get the opportunity to get additional benefits or bonuses.
