Steemit Challenge Season 34 - Week 10 : Question 1 : What’s Your Hobby?

Today, I'm answering the first question for the tenth week of Steemit Challenge 34. I am very happy to have the opportunity to write about my hobbies. I'll share my hobbies by answering the question below, and I hope everyone enjoys what I have written.

My favorite hobbies are raising animals, gardening (growing fruits and flowers), and fish farming. Ever since childhood, I have had a special affinity for nature, lush greenery, and various animals. I truly enjoy engaging in these activities during my spare time. To me, these are not merely hobbies; they are a source of joy as well as a wonderful plan for the future.

I enjoy raising animals; I have a particular interest in keeping cows, goats, and poultry. These animals provide milk, eggs, and meat, which help meet the nutritional needs of my family. Additionally, gardening—both for fruits and flowers—is one of my favorite activities. I have planted various fruit trees, including lemon, banana, and papaya. Caring for the plants, planting new saplings, and watching the trees bear fruit bring me great joy. A flower garden enhances the beauty of the surroundings and refreshes the mind. I have recently begun work on a fruit orchard, fish farming, and an agro-farm project. I hope to have the project fully underway within the next two months.

In the future, I intend to establish a modern, integrated agricultural farm that combines livestock rearing, fruit and flower cultivation, and fish farming. I believe that through hard work, patience, and sound planning, it is possible to transform this interest into a successful profession. This will not only provide me with employment but also allow me to contribute to the nation’s agriculture and economy.
Since childhood, I have had a keen interest in animal husbandry, fruit orchards, and fish farming. At our village home, I used to help my parents raise various types of animals; that is where my passion for agriculture and farm management first took root. However, due to my studies and subsequent professional commitments, I was unable to dedicate much time to these pursuits for a long while. Yet, the dream of establishing a modern agricultural farm has always remained with me. I have now begun work on my agro-project. My goal is to gradually develop an integrated farm that encompasses animal husbandry, fruit orchards, and fish farming. This is not just a hobby for me—it is my primary objective for the future.
My orchard includes lemon, banana, and papaya trees. I truly enjoy caring for these trees—ensuring they receive fertilizer and water at the right times and monitoring their growth. It brings me great joy to see new leaves sprouting and fruit beginning to form. My goal is for this orchard to not only meet my family’s needs but also, in the future, to produce fruit for commercial purposes.

Another component of my agricultural project is fish farming; there are fish in the pond located next to the orchard. I plan to increase production by providing proper care for the fish.

Additionally, I am currently constructing a modern cattle shed designed to house over 50 cows—a key part of my plans. My long-term vision is to integrate the raising of cattle, goats, and poultry with fish farming, all under a single, unified farm operation.

Other members of my family do not share my deep interest in this hobby. As a child, I used to raise animals in the village alongside my parents. That experience fostered my love for agriculture. Currently, I am working on developing an agro-project based on my own interests and plans.
Yes, I have taken my children to my agro-project. I want them to gain practical experience from a young age in animal husbandry, fruit gardening, and fish farming. There, they get to learn about various fruit trees, fish in the ponds, and the processes involved in setting up a farm. I believe that spending time in nature will foster a love for plants and animals within them. I hope that, in the future, they will come to understand the importance of agriculture and develop an interest in an eco-friendly lifestyle.
My hobbies include animal husbandry, cultivating fruit and flower gardens, and fish farming. These activities require patience, hard work, time management, and the ability to provide proper care. Animal husbandry involves looking after the animals' nutrition, health, and living conditions. For fruit gardening, it is essential to have an understanding of soil quality, fertilizers, irrigation, and pest or disease management. Similarly, fish farming requires knowledge of pond water quality, fish feed, and effective management practices.
I have been involved in animal husbandry alongside my parents at our village home since I was a child. I learned a great deal through hands-on experience under their guidance. Over time, this long-standing experience has fostered both my interest in and proficiency with these pursuits. However, due to my education and professional commitments, I have not always had the opportunity to engage in these activities. Currently, I am gaining fresh experience by launching my own agricultural project.
I have not enrolled in any formal courses to learn these skills; rather, I have acquired my knowledge through family experience, practical work, and my own personal interest. Furthermore, I actively seek out information related to agriculture and farming to expand my expertise. I am confident that, through consistent practice and experience, I will be able to become a successful farmer in the future.
My hobby-based agro-project is proving to be quite costly. Significant funds are required for livestock rearing, establishing fruit orchards, fish farming, and constructing facilities for a cattle farm. I have initiated this project with a budget equivalent to approximately 571,428 Steem. I am investing in stages—covering land preparation, planting trees, stocking fish in ponds, and building infrastructure to house over 50 cows. I am hopeful that, in time, this investment will evolve into a successful farm.
The biggest obstacle I face in starting my agro-project is the negative comments and ridicule from others. As an electrical engineer, many believe that leaving my engineering career to pursue farming is a poor decision. In our society, many still view agriculture as a menial or inferior profession. However, I firmly believe that animal husbandry, fruit orchards, and fish farming can be both honorable and profitable ventures. Therefore, rather than letting the opinions of others hold me back, I am determined to move forward and turn my dream into reality.

প্রিয় মাহদি সেলিম ভাই আপনাকে অসংখ্য ধন্যবাদ। এই চ্যালেঞ্জের প্রথম প্রশ্নের আপনার শখ সম্পর্কে উপস্থাপন করার জন্য। খুবই চমৎকার ভাবে বলেছেন। আপনি গাছপালা লাগাতে খুব পছন্দ করেন যেখান থেকে নিজের লাগানো বাগান থেকে সব রকমের শাক সবজি ফল সবকিছুই পাওয়া যায়। যদি নিজে এভাবে চালবাজ করা যায় তাহলে খুব কমই যেখানে ওষুধ ব্যবহার করা হয়। যাতে করে নিজের শরীরের জন্য অনেক উপকার রয়েছে। যদিও আমরা এভাবে ফলের গাছ রোপন করি যেখান থেকে আমরা সংগ্রহ করতে পারি। যদিও পরিশ্রম করতে হবে যদিও নিজের শখ পূরণ করতে হবে । তাছাড়াও আপনার ছোটবেলা থেকে পশু লালন পালন করতে অনেক ভালো লাগে আর আপনি সেই সবটি পূরণ করার জন্য। আপনার পরিশ্রমের টাকা দিয়ে খুবই সুন্দর একটি জায়গা তৈরি করেছেন। যেখানে আপনার অনেকটা পরিমাণে গরু লালন পালন করা সম্ভব হবে। আপনার পরিশ্রম বলতেছে যে আপনি অবশ্যই আপনার সবটি খুব দ্রুত পুরন করতে পারবে। একটা শখ পূরণ করার জন্য পরিশ্রম আর মেধা আর সাহসের প্রয়োজন। তাহলে কিন্তু সেই ব্যক্তি অবশ্যই তার নিজের শখ পূরণ করতে পারবে। #s34engagement
