Steemian Friends,
I learned one day that five members of the Steemit team were visiting Bangladesh, and I had the opportunity to arrange a picnic with them. Given such a chance, I would not hesitate for a moment to organize a wonderful picnic for them at Cox's Bazar beach. Cox's Bazar is one of the longest natural sea beaches in the world. Spending a day with members of the Steemit family amidst the vast ocean, the sound of the waves, the open sky, and the delightful atmosphere would undoubtedly be a memorable experience for me.

It is my wish not to limit this event to just five members of the Steemit team, but to invite all Steemians from across Bangladesh. If Steemians from various parts of the country can participate together, it will be more than just a picnic; it will transform into a grand gathering for the Bangladeshi Steemit community. It will provide an opportunity for both veteran and new Steemians to get to know one another and share their experiences.

Food will be the most important part of the picnic. Since none of the five Steemit team members are vegetarians, I will arrange a spread featuring various traditional Bangladeshi dishes, including fish, meat, and other delicacies. My primary objective is to showcase our country's local culinary culture to the guests. Additionally, I will present the Steemit team with locally made clothing as gifts.

Breakfast will feature hot parathas, dal, fried eggs, mixed vegetables, and tea. The main lunch spread will include aromatic Basmati or local rice, beef Kala Bhuna, chicken roast, country-style chicken curry, and various types of bhorta (mashed vegetable/fish dishes). To truly showcase the flavors of Bangladeshi cuisine, the menu will include mashed potato (aloo bhorta), mashed eggplant (begun bhorta), dried fish mash (shutki bhorta), and dal. Fried Hilsa fish will certainly be included. Additionally, we plan to serve popular dishes like shrimp bhuna or shrimp malai curry.

Since the picnic is being held in Cox's Bazar, I would like to treat the guests to the taste of local sea fish. Fresh sea fish can be served fried or grilled. Accompaniments will include green chilies, onions, cucumbers, lemons, and a local-style salad. To conclude the meal, there will be sweets, yogurt, and seasonal fruits. The afternoon snacks will feature fuchka, chotpoti, jhalmuri, and, of course, hot tea.

When shopping for groceries, I will buy most ingredients from the local market. I will source fresh fish and shrimp from the local fish market in Cox's Bazar. I will buy meat, rice, lentils, spices, vegetables, and other essentials from familiar shops in the local market. This way, I will get fresh food while also supporting local traders.

Alongside the picnic, we'll do some fun activities. Plans include walking along the beach, enjoying the ocean waves, taking group photos, and sharing personal experiences regarding Steemit. If desired, we can also organize an informal get-together where both new and veteran Steemians can share their stories, experiences, and plans.

Finally, we will all sit by the seaside at sunset and take photos together. The sky bathed in a crimson glow, the ocean waves, and the laughter of the Steemians all around—this scene will remain a lifelong memory for me. I hope that through this picnic in Cox's Bazar, the Steemit team takes back with them not only the natural beauty of Bangladesh but also a taste of our hospitality, friendship, and diverse local culinary culture.
