Assalamu Alaikum friends, I hope you are all well. By the grace of Allah, I am also well. Today I will show you a solar park located outside our Tangail. Although it is not allowed to enter it, I will try to show its views from the outside only.

Sirajganj 68 MW Solar Park is an important solar power project in Bangladesh. It is located on the west side of the Tangail Jamuna Bridge. This solar park on the banks of the Jamuna River is a very important project.

I visited this place for some time while going to Rajshahi. This is a large solar power plant set up in Sirajganj Sadar area, Soydabad, Sirajganj. Electricity is generated from the heat of the sun here. This is a very important project. It is located on the west side of the Bangabandhu Jamuna Multipurpose Bridge.

Thousands of solar panels have been installed here in a huge area. You all know that it is possible to generate solar electricity from sunlight. These panels generate electricity from sunlight, and then that electricity is supplied to the national grid. I took a few pictures from in front of the sub-station.

There is a big gate in front of this solar park area where it is clearly written 68MW. This means that a maximum of 68 megawatts of electricity can be generated here. However, an important point is that 68 MW does not mean that 68 MW of electricity will be generated every day.

The production also changes due to the more or less sunlight. Sometimes, due to rain, the heat of the sun is not available all day, then a little less electricity can be generated. However, it is possible to generate at least half of this power. China has signed an agreement with Bangladesh and is keeping this project running.

It is located in an open space. Therefore, sunlight can easily enter here from the surrounding area. There is the Yamuna River next to it, due to which the heat of the sun can come here intensely and is able to generate additional electricity. When I went, it was evening.

Therefore, the pictures of the solar panels of solar power could not be understood clearly. However, I tried to show as much as I could with my camera. The sub-station in the first section is where electricity is mainly generated and stored. There is a railway road on the south side of the sub-station.

Wa Alaikum Assalam!
This is a very informative and interesting post about the Sirajganj 68 MW Solar Park.I really enjoyed learning about this important renewable energy project and its location near the Jamuna River and the Jamuna Bridge. Your explanation of how the solar panels convert sunlight into electricity and supply it to the national grid was very easy to understand.I also appreciate that you shared photographs of the entrance gate, substation, power section, towers, and surrounding area even though visitors are not allowed to enter the solar park. The information about the 68 MW capacity was particularly interesting because many people may assume that the plant produces exactly 68 MW continuously, while actual production depends on sunlight, weather, and other conditions.
It must have been an interesting experience to see such a large solar power project while traveling to Rajshahi. Renewable energy projects like this are very important for the future because solar energy is a clean and sustainable source of electricity. I hope Bangladesh continues to develop more projects like this.
Thank you for taking the time to visit the place and share both the beautiful views and useful information with the Steemit community. Your post gives us a nice virtual tour of a place that many of us may never get the chance to visit personally.
