Early morning stress of a 9-5 girlie working as a content strategist and Social media Manager

In my introductory post, I mentioned that I am a social media manager and content executive, which includes content creation.
I never once thought I would build a career from social media, but look at me now… Killing it in the media sector… Clock itttt!

You won't know how good you are until you leave your comfort zone and start something you haven't thought could work for you.
Before, I had little ideas about social media but here I am building my social media life because of this job.

Stay with me as I tell you my experience as a Lagosian and a media girlie who has to go to the office on a Monday morning.
I woke up, did my morning chores and got prepared for work. It is funny how I wake up early but still leave home late, and that which I suffered from today.

I normally take my time to dress properly because I love to look good. And you know, I will be on camera, even though I will have a change of outfit because we do a batch shoot, but this girl must look pinged from home. I took a couple of pictures and videos from home even though I knew I was running late, and finally left my home for work.

But I suffered today because I waited for one hour plus waiting to get a vehicle that would get me to the location. But after waiting and panicking because I was late for work, I finally got a vehicle, and the price went up, maybe because it is Monday and there are a lot of people at the bus stop to get a bus tho.

I was already getting stressed out because there was traffic, but thanks to the glasses I wore, I was still feeling myself and beauty, and I kept my panic deep inside.
I finally got to where I was supposed to alight from the bus and trekked to my office

I was still feeling myself on the road and greeting familar faces. Taking videos and pictures because I just have to document my day. After about 10 -15 minutes, I eventually got to the office and got down to work immediately.

Whenever I get to office, I just have this serious energy because I am down for the business of the day. I don't waste time at all... I plan the contents we have to shoot for the day, discuss with my team and prepare to start the camera rolling.
