SLC33-W6: My Community, My Story – Challenges in My Community

How are you all? I hope you are well. I am also fine by the grace of Allah. Today, I have come to participate in the sixth week of the Steemit Challenge SLC-S33/W6, organized by the Honorable organizer @josepha sir. He brought a wonderful challenge, whose name is "SLC33-W6: My Community, My Story – Challenges in My Community"|| I feel proud to participate in this challenge.

Roads of Pagla Bazar

The place I have come to visit today is a famous place. The name of the place is Pagla Bazar Stand. It is a place under Fatulla Police Station of Narayanganj district.
The place is historically an industrial area. The Buriganga River, known as the heart of Dhaka, flows past the place. Being close to the river, it has helped a lot in the development of the industrial area. There are many steel factories, supermarkets, schools, colleges, wholesale fish, meat, and grocery item markets here. Due to this, a lot of people gather here. It is also a main road for commuting on the Dhaka-Narayanganj road. The place I visited is a road in front of Pagla Bazar and Haji Yunus Super Market.

Huge rush in the road*

I have already said that the area is an industrial area. There are a lot of industrial establishments here. Apart from this, there are many other things here, including markets and supermarkets. Millions of people live here, and millions of people travel on this road every day.
There is a great lack of roads that are wide enough to accommodate so many people. Also, there are no specific sidewalks along the roads. Here, people move along the side of the road, coming and going as they please without any discipline.

Shops beside the road

Every person wants beautiful roads to move around, specific sidewalks, specific stands, and parking facilities for vehicles moving on the road. Due to the lack of these facilities, which are the rights of citizens, people live well, but they live with a kind of dissatisfaction and dissatisfaction in their minds. It is difficult to find joy or entertainment in that living.

Dirty water is accumulating on the side of the road

In the present era, we want safe roads for movement, beautiful sidewalks for walking, transport will be in a specific place, there will be zebra crossings for crossing the road, and lampposts will be on the side of the road. Only then can that place be called an ideal place; that place will be a developed place. But the Pagla Bazar road that I reviewed today does not have any of these amenities. Cars are parked here randomly; there is no specific stop. People cross the road taking risks. There are mobile shops and various types of vehicles on the side of the road. In the meantime, if there is a little rain, the side of the road becomes muddy. Then it becomes unbearable for people to move. These are the problems that affect my community.

The road condition is very bad.

People are fed up with various problems on the road. These issues have been reported to the local administration. They have also monitored the matter on the ground. They have also admitted that the road is unfit for the people of the area. So they have presented the matter to the higher authorities. They have also made a master plan to renovate the road. Hopefully, we will see its implementation very soon and the unbearable suffering we are experiencing will be removed.

Pagla Bazar road is a government road. A master plan has already been prepared to renovate the road. Many experts will work there; they will definitely start working with a very good and long-term plan. But as a community member
