Steemit Challenge Season34 Week5 Q2 | If I were mayor for a week.

Hello dear friends, how are you all? I hope everyone is well by the grace of Allah. I am also very well by the grace of Allah. Today I am here with a post about participating in a competition. I am ready to participate in this competition with pleasure. Let's get started.

What three changes would you make during your week in power to improve the lives of the local people?

If I were to be elected as a mayor of my local area, I would participate in welfare work for the people. I will bring about changes that will be a blessing to the people. Since I will be given a week's time, if I get the chance within a week, I will definitely focus on things that can be completed quickly. The three topics that I will be drawing more attention to on that day are discussed below.

• City sewage

Waterlogging is one of the major public problems in most municipalities in Bangladesh. I will be the first to take this initiative to end the suffering of these people. I will draw a lot of attention to how to drain the city's water. Because in such conditions in the city, water rises on the floors of various houses. Also, there are no conditions for movement on the roads. So I will continue to put a lot of effort into my municipality's drainage system. This will reduce public suffering on the roads and create a healthy environment for vehicle movement. Otherwise, this extreme suffering of people on rainy days really upsets me.

• Correct judicial criteria

If I could be elected as the mayor of the municipality for a week, I would introduce a healthy justice system for the people of this region. Through this system, I will make my utmost efforts in all welfare activities for the people. I will take whatever steps are necessary to stop the unnecessary harassment and properly investigate the case. Because recently it has been seen that the standards of the judicial system are very weak. Getting a fair trial has become a luxury. So if I am elected for one week, I will restore a healthy justice system in my region.

• Poor Relief Foundation

The third thing I will focus on is creating a foundation for the poorest people in the municipality from all walks of life. I will create this in such a way that it will continue in the future and that the poor will be provided with constant assistance. For this I will save those who are very old and poor. And there are also those who are disabled and widowed. I will give all these people a card from this foundation, through which they will receive a certain amount of money and assistance from this foundation. I will create it in such a way that it will continue in the future and they will receive this financial assistance regularly and can live comfortably.

Who would support your changes, and who would oppose them?

I will work on things that are a blessing to everyone. But I never expect everyone to appreciate my work. Because I know a little about how much sacrifice is required to be elected as the mayor of a municipality in urban life. So I have to move forward, facing this difficult situation. But those who are my rivals will oppose this work of mine. Although there is no logical reason to oppose it. But they will oppose me because they are my rivals.

However, I believe that the vast majority of the people in my municipality will support me. Because it's not that bad in my area that most people are on the illegal path. So I believe that the people of my region will appreciate my work as a municipal mayor.

How much money approximately would your changes cost to implement, and how would you find the money? Would you have to make savings elsewhere to get the money?

I won't need much money to implement these plans. Because even though my plans are very affordable, they will be very people-friendly. I have mentioned below a separate one-week budget to implement this plan of mine.

Here, the monthly assistance from the foundation I will launch for the poor is mentioned. I will issue this rule in just one week, which will remain in effect in the future. If I can keep this going, it will be the most rewarding and joyful thing for me.

Do you think your changes would stay in place after you have finished your week in power? Or would they quickly be changed back to how they used to be?

I believe the changes I bring will remain in the future. Because I will not make any rules that go against the people. I will definitely make all my changes for the benefit of the people. And for this purpose, I can say that the changes I will bring in a week will remain a symbol of welfare for the people in the future.

However, I cannot give a 100% guarantee that even if it does happen, my competitors will be able to accept it. Since my power is only for one week, they might change it later. But I think people will accept my changes with great joy. So I believe that the changes I have noticed this week will continue in the future.
