Selected Question: Who are we?

Introduction: What is our core identity?
When we create our account on Steemit, our first attempt is to write good articles, share our creations and share our ideas with other people. Gradually we get familiar with this platform and become part of different communities.
But are we really just writers?
I think the proper and correct answer to this question is not so simple and easy as we think in our minds. Steemit is not just a ordinary platform where people publish their posts and articles and wait to see how many votes and rewards they get from steemit. It is a community whose success depends on the participation, cooperation and positive attitude of every member of the steemit family.
Our identity is not only formed by our writings but also by our behavior and relationship with others.
1. Author: Gives words to thoughts
First of all we are writers. We share and express our daily life experiences and incidents, hobbies, talents, art, drawing and many ideas with others through words and pictures on it.
Everyone has different interests. Some draw, some make clay art, some share cooking recipes and some write about their daily life events.
To me, the purpose of a good post should not only be to win a prize, but also to show others something new and learn from your experiences.
A good piece of writing can raise questions in the reader's mind, encourage them to try something new, and sometimes even change their perspective.
2. Commentator: From Silent Reader to Active Member

source
I think commenting on Steemit is one of our most important responsibilities, but unfortunately sometimes we neglect this aspect.
We read someone's post, see pictures and move on. Sometimes, just by writing Good Post or Nice Work, they fully understand their responsibility.
But does a good comment have to be just a few words?
I think not!
A meaningful comment should show that we have actually read the other person's writing. We should try to understand his effort, thoughts and creation.
For example, if someone wanted to shares their drawing art experience and talent, we can comment on their choice of colors how beautiful and creatively they choice the colours, work style or a particular piece of that drawing. If we feel any deficiency or any kind of thing, it can also be expressed and discussed respectfully.
In this way, the comment or suggestion is not just a compliment but becomes a full means of learning and encouraging each other in this platform.
3. Curator: Recognizing the work of others
For me, the role of curator is also very important.
We all want our hard work to be appreciated, but we should also think about whether we take the time to recognize the good efforts of others.
A good curator is not just someone who votes, but finds content that really deserves attention and inspiration.
Sometimes a small piece of artwork, sometimes someone's painstakingly crafted piece of writing and sometimes a new member's interesting experience deserves our attention.
Not every member necessarily has a lot of Steem Power. In my view, the real importance is that we appreciate the hard work of others as much as we can and promote positive activities in the community.
If everyone only cares about the success of their own posts, the community's collaboration will be weakened.
4. Do we realize our responsibilities?
Here an important question arises that we expect cooperation from others, but do we do the same?
We want people to read our posts, comment and vote on our creations. But do we also take the time to read other people's posts and encourage them?
I think we need to change our thinking a bit.
To make Steemit a beautiful community, it is important that we not only take, but also try to give to others.
A nice comment, an appropriate vote and encouraging a new member are seemingly small things, but these small efforts add up to a strong community.
My point of view: Real success lies in moving forward together
For me, the most interesting and mind-blowing aspect of Steemit community is that people from different countries, languages, thoughts and cultures share their creations of art and experiences with each other throughout this platform.
We can learn from each other, build new friendships and positive relationships, and improve our skills.
I believe that if we strive to be good commenters and responsible curators along with being authors, our community can be more active and stronger than ever.
We must not forget that a community is not only made of good posts but of people who read, understand, appreciate and discuss those posts.
Conclusion
Finally in the end, I would happily like to say that we are not just writers. We are part of a community where everyone's role matters.
The author offers ideas, the commentator drives the conversation and the curator encourages good creations.
If we make these three roles part of our activities, Steemit will not be just a place to publish posts, but a community where everyone's efforts and presence will be valued.
Now I would like to ask a question to my community friends: What role do you most see yourself in on Steemit? A writer, a commentator or a curator? And do you try to fulfill these three responsibilities?
