Better Life with Steem || THE DIARY GAME ||18-09-2026|The best moments spent at my house
Assalamu Alaikum,
Hello everyone,
I am @afrinn
From #Bangladesh
Assalamu Alaikum. I hope everyone is healthy and well by the grace of Allah; Alhamdulillah, I am also doing well. Today, I am going to share a glimpse of my daily routine. I hope you all enjoy it. Let’s get started. I woke up in the morning and attended to the various household chores that needed to be done. Afterward, I took my children out for a walk; they are quite mischievous, though they do try their best to listen to what I say. While out on the road, I saw some young children playing. Watching them play brought back memories of my own childhood, as I used to play these very same games. Reminiscing about those days made me feel a bit nostalgic and somewhat sad. Anyway, my child and I continued our walk for a while before heading back home. Upon returning, I gradually attended to various tasks, and the morning slowly gave way to the afternoon.

In the afternoon, I bathed and freshened up, then bathed the children and fed them. Afterward, the children and I went to the shop to buy some essential items—specifically, hair oil for my mother-in-law, as well as onions, garlic, and other necessities. Then, I returned to my room, aiming to get back home quickly. Upon returning, I found that some chores had piled up, so I took care of them. Since there aren't many people at home, I have to handle the housework myself, and having two children means a lot of work accumulates. Anyway, once the chores were done, I got ready to go to sleep.

After waking up, my children and I went for a walk along the road. That was when I spotted a beautiful Nayantara (Periwinkle) plant; seeing it made me very happy, as these are among my favorite flowers. My children were also delighted by the sight, since almost everyone loves flowers. My daughter even started picking a few of them. In this way, the afternoon gradually turned into evening.

In the evening, I finished all the household chores. Since my mother-in-law is ill and bedridden, I have to take care of many tasks for her, including administering her medication. After attending to that, I gave my mother-in-law her medicine and handed the mobile phone to my two children to keep them occupied. I had also bought some FOGG perfume
; my daughters really love perfume, so I gave some to them. That is how the evening transitioned into night, and the day passed happily. So, friends, stay healthy and take care. Allah Hafiz.

The part about watching the children play and suddenly remembering your own childhood was especially touching it shows how ordinary moments can bring back such precious memories. It feels like those familiar games connected your present with the carefree days of your own childhood, making the moment both sweet and a little emotional. I also loved how seeing the Nayantara flowers brought you happiness and how your children became excited to see them too; sometimes a simple flower can bring back beautiful feelings and create new memories with our children.
