We hope you all are well. We shared guidelines regarding Steem Game's Theme for September, and we want all gaming content to be published according to them, but there are still some shortcomings. To address these shortcomings, we prepared a short tutorial with a sample of what you need to keep in mind to improve your post.

Keeping all the given things in mind, your post can be improved, and you have a better chance of getting good votes. The better your post is, the more votes percentage you will get. However, your percentage of votes may decrease.

Thumbnail

A thumbnail is something that makes your post attractive. If your thumbnail is good and attractive, then other people will definitely open it and read it. When your post is read, your chances of support increase. Therefore, the thumbnail should always be beautiful, and it should be in good formatting.

The recommended thumbnail size for your post should be a 3:2 aspect ratio, which is 1536 x 1024. The advantage of this is that your entire thumbnail will be visible. It usually happens that people attach an image by taking a screenshot from their mobile phone, which becomes too large and not all the details are clear, and it also looks bad.

The thumbnail and title of your post are two things that are the full power of your post because when people want to reach your post, only your thumbnail and your title have to be shown, and your post has to be opened from them, so these two things should be absolutely authentic.

Some people get thumbnails generated by AI that look attractive, and some people design them on Canva. They are all excellent. But if you don't have enough time or you don't want to get thumbnails generated on Canva or AI, and you want to post a screenshot from your game, then post one that is attractive, not a long screenshot.

Text Format

All content written in your post must be unique and written by you, not content that you publish directly from the game's website. There are some games that give you text based on the game you played; you just publish it. This is the method by which you will get a very low voting percentage for Booming, since the percentage you are getting is solely based on your activities and not on your good posts.

Do not repeat the same sentence over and over in your post; this will greatly reduce the quality of your post. You should only say one thing once and then move on to your next point, which will make it easier to understand.

Always use markdown in the text so that you can further enhance your post. When the content of your post is written, it will be nice to look at, and then it will also be interesting to read. Our effort is to provide such content that makes it easy for the next person to see, easy to understand, and convinces them to appreciate you by voting or commenting.

We have noticed that some text is placed in such a way that if you have taken a screenshot of the main interface of the game, for example, it is after two images in the screenshot, before which you have written text about it. This means that the content of your post is not understood. What you have to do is either you have to first place the image, then you have to explain about this image below, or you have to write a paragraph first and place its related image below so that both are close to each other and it is easy to understand because when we are reading your text, we have to look at the image along with it, then it becomes an authentic content.

The most important step is to insert our images because we have to take our screenshots from whatever game we have played and publish them by inserting them in our post. For this, we have to take special care of the images and format them well. For example, first of all, we talk about two landscape images, and we definitely have to insert them together. It is better to insert these two images in front of each other than placing them on top of each other.

First of all, the method I have shown below is wrong because we only want the activities of your game; we do not want the entire screenshot of your mobile, like I have attached two images below in which you can see at the top that my mobile's battery, WiFi, and SIM signal time etc., are also being shown and my buttons are also being shown below. All these things are of no use to us. We only have to present unique images that present our content.

Now, by looking at the images below, you will get an idea of how your content can be unique. In this, I have only shared images of my activities. If you crop the images above, our simple, important activities will come to the fore.

In this, I have placed two images in front of the image. If I had placed them upside down, it would have been a very long image and would have looked very bad. Therefore, I placed them in front of the image and cropped them so that they took up less space and provided authentic content.

Single Portrait Image:

If you have a single image in portrait, do not place it in the middle because when we place it in the middle, our image becomes much longer, due to which the text appears shorter to us and the image appears longer, which spoils the format of the post, so this method is wrong.

If you have to put a single image and you have it in portrait size, then you must put it on the side, either on the top left side or on the right side. If you are putting the image on the left side, then your text should be right in front of it on the right side, just like I have presented to you below. Similarly, if your image is placed from the left side to the right side, then your text should be on the left side, just like your text will present your image, and both things can be seen together.

Similarly, we have some images in landscape, like if we are playing a game on a laptop, we have to take a screenshot of the entire screen. The mistake that often happens is that we take a screenshot and include our bookmarks and the taskbar at the bottom along with it, and the bookmark at the top is also included with the image, which is completely wrong. We do not need your taskbar and your bookmarks.

The correct way is that you simply take as many screenshots as you want to present. For example, I have taken a screenshot of a Steem Ludo game below, in which neither the taskbar nor the bookmark is displayed; the main interface of the game is displayed. In this way, you have to take its image and center it using the center tag so that it looks beautiful in the middle. You can also mention the item you are going to open next in this image by putting a small mark or circling it.

Tags Format

To get support from a booming account, you will have to improve your tag formatting according to the tag formatting we have shared in our guidelines. If you apply your tags, your post will reach us quickly because we have to search your post with the help of tags, which will make it easier for us, and your content will also get support.

The tag format we have shared is something like this: first of all, you have to use the tag #steemgame; this is the tag that represents all Steem Games.

When you mention that you are playing games on Steem, then your second tag will be the game you played. For example, if you are playing the Steam Ludo game, you have to use its tag in the second place. Like #steemludo

The third tag used is the #steemexclusive tag. This is the tag that indicates that your content is authentic: you did not copy-paste it from somewhere, you did not have it AI-generated, and this is your only content that is being shared on this platform.

Fourth, you have to use the tag of the country you belong to. This is very important. We will know from which country how many gameplay posts are being posted. For example, if I am from Pakistan, I will use the tag #pakistan.

This is a sequence of tagging. Now I will tell you how to use each tag for each game. Below, the tag formatting has been done separately for all the games. Use these tags and get good support.
