Salam Gaza Signature Movement

On 7 October a protest was organized at our university under the name “Salam Gaza Signature Movement.” Students from different university groups and student organizations participated in this activity.

The atmosphere was serious and emotional. Students gathered together to express their feelings and solidarity with the people of Gaza. The purpose of the gathering was to remind everyone that the people of Gaza are not forgotten and that their suffering is being remembered.

Students Standing Together

One of the most meaningful things about this activity was the Participation if students from Different groups. Everyone come together around a message of solidarity and support.

Students expressed their support for the people of Gaza and gave the message that they stand with them during their difficult time The Gathering also Provided an opportunity For students to express their feelings through a peaceful activity.

Prayers for Gaza

Prayers were also offered for the people of Gaza during the gathering. Students prayed for their safety peace and protection and asked Allah to ease the difficulties faced by those who are suffering.

For me this was one of the most emotional parts of the event. Sometimes words are not enough To express what we Feel and prayer becomes a way to express our hopes and concerns.

My Role in the Movement

I was also personally involved in this activity. I am working as the Social Media Incharge of Usooluddin from Islami Jamiat Talaba in Zone A Block.

Because of this responsibility I also covered the activity through my camera. I tried to capture different moments of the movement so that the event could be documented and later shared with others.

For me photography during such an event was not simply about taking pictures. It was about preserving the moments of the day and documenting the participation of students.

A Message of Solidarity

Throughout the gathering a message of solidarity with Gaza was conveyed. Students expressed their support and gave the message that Gaza and its people should not be forgotten.

The movement Also Reminded me that university life is not only about attending classes quizzes assignments and examinations. It is also about understanding what as happening around us and learning How young people can express their concerns through peaceful and meaningful activities.
