5 Common Mistakes Beginners Make When Creating AI Images

Hello Steemit Community!

AI image generation can be incredibly creative, but getting a great result is not always as easy as it looks.

When I started experimenting with AI images, I realized that small mistakes in a prompt can make a big difference in the final result.

Today I want to share 5 common mistakes that beginners should avoid.

  1. Writing a Very Simple Prompt

One of the biggest mistakes is using a prompt that is too short.

For example:

"Create a man in a city."

This doesn't give the AI enough information.

A better prompt can describe the person, environment, lighting, clothing, camera angle, mood, and visual style.

  1. Ignoring Lighting

Lighting can completely change the appearance of an image.

If you want a cinematic result, try describing the lighting you want, such as soft natural light, golden-hour lighting, dramatic studio lighting, or cinematic evening light.

  1. Not Describing the Environment

The background is also important.

Instead of simply saying "a beautiful place," describe the location.

For example:

"A modern creative studio with large windows overlooking a futuristic city at sunset."

Specific details help create a more interesting scene.

  1. Adding Too Many Unrelated Details

More details do not always mean a better image.

If a prompt contains too many unrelated ideas, the AI may struggle to understand what should be the main focus.

I try to keep the main subject clear and then add supporting details around it.

  1. Giving Up After the First Generation

The first result is not always the best result.

Sometimes the image needs another attempt.

I usually look at what went wrong and improve the prompt. I may change the lighting, camera angle, background, clothing, or composition.

This process of experimenting and improving is one of the most interesting parts of AI art.

My Biggest Lesson

The most important thing I've learned is that AI image creation is not simply about pressing a button.

A good idea, a clear prompt, experimentation, and patience can make a big difference.

I'm still learning and improving my own AI creation skills, and I'll continue sharing what I learn through Naeem Creates.
