The Diary Game: 12th July 2026. Rush hour to church ⛪️

Hey, Boo boo🥰! It’s Naomi here again Welcome to another diary of my day. and today I want to share with you how I spent my Sunday from the beginning of the day until the very end.

This morning, I woke up quite early, around 5:00 a.m. The first thing I did was say my prayers and thank God for the gift of a new day. Since today is Sunday, I had already planned to attend the first church service, which starts very early, so I knew I couldn’t afford to waste any time. Normally, I don’t like rushing, and I especially don’t like getting to church late, so I made sure to wake up early enough to get everything ready before leaving the house.

Before heading to the bathroom, I decided to boil some eggs because I wanted to have something light in my stomach before going to church. I wasn’t in the mood for a heavy breakfast, so boiled eggs sounded just perfect. While the eggs were boiling, I left them in the kitchen to cool a little and then headed straight to the bathroom to brush my teeth and take my shower.

After freshening up, I returned to my room to get dressed for church. While I was dressing, I noticed it looked like it was drizzling outside. Out of curiosity, I stepped outside for a quick look, and that was when something caught my attention. In my compound, I have a palm tree and a coconut tree, and as I looked at them, I couldn’t help but admire how beautiful they looked in the cool morning weather.

The coconut tree especially caught my eye. Seeing the coconuts growing there gave me such a cozy and peaceful feeling. I know not everyone has seen how coconuts grow naturally, so I decided to take a few pictures to show you all. It was one of those little moments that made me smile, and I just wanted to share it with you.

Since it was still drizzling, I locked everywhere properly and went back inside to finish getting ready. Once I was fully dressed, I went back into the kitchen, picked up the boiled eggs, and had my breakfast. I boiled three eggs altogether, but I only ate two and left the last one at home. After that, I made myself a cup of tea, enjoyed it quietly, and then headed straight to church.

Church service was refreshing, and I was happy I made it on time. After the service ended, I came back home feeling relaxed. The first thing I did was change out of my church clothes and take another shower so I could feel fresh again before settling in for the rest of the day.

After resting for a little while, I started thinking about what to prepare for lunch. Since I had no plans of going out, I decided to cook something simple. Although Sundays are usually a nice day to step outside, look around, and enjoy a change of environment, I just wasn’t feeling that vibe today.

As an introvert, I’m usually very comfortable staying indoors, and today was one of those days when home simply felt like the best place to be. I thought about going out just to feed my eyes a little and enjoy the atmosphere, but in the end, I decided to stay in, enjoy my own company, and have a quiet, peaceful day at home.

So, I headed into the kitchen and prepared white rice and stew for lunch. After cooking, I sat down and enjoyed my meal, and honestly, it was just what I needed.

One thing that made me happy today was finally seeing a little sunshine. It has been raining almost every day lately, so it felt nice to see the sun come out for a while. Since I had some raw ogbono seeds that had been sitting in the house for quite some time, I noticed they were beginning to develop little spots because of the moisture from the rainy weather.

Immediately I saw the sunshine, I decided to take advantage of it. I carried the ogbono seeds outside and spread them where the sun could warm and dry them a little. I didn’t want them to spoil, so I was happy the weather gave me that opportunity.

After that, I came back inside, picked up my phone, and spent some time replying to messages, scrolling through social media, and attending to a few things. Honestly, my phone keeps me company most days. Being an introvert means I spend a lot of time indoors, so my phone is one of the things that helps keep me entertained and connected with people.

Before I knew it, evening had arrived, and the sun was already beginning to go down. I stepped outside once again to bring the ogbono seeds back into the house before the weather changed again. Once I had done that, I settled back indoors.

For dinner, I didn’t feel like cooking another meal, so I simply had the white rice and stew I had prepared earlier in the day. It was still delicious, and it saved me the stress of cooking twice.

Later in the evening, I took my bath, changed into my nightwear, and made sure to drink plenty of water before relaxing for the rest of the night. I picked up my phone once again, replied to a few more messages, scrolled for a while, and just enjoyed the quietness of the evening. It was one of those slow, peaceful nights where nothing much was happening, and honestly, I didn’t mind it at all.

Before I knew it, I started feeling sleepy, and eventually, I dozed off.

And that was how I spent my Sunday. Nothing too exciting, nothing stressful—just a calm, peaceful, and cozy day, and sometimes, those are the days we need the most.

Thank you so much, my loves. Thank you, my fellow Steamians for staying with me and spending a part of your day reading through my diary. Your love and support truly mean so much to me, and I never take it for granted.

I hope to have you here again tomorrow for another diary of my day. Until then, have a beautiful day or a lovely night wherever you’re watching from.

Take care, stay safe, and I’ll see you in my next diary.

Bye-bye! ❤️
