My Educational Journey | From School to Self-Learning
Assalamu Alaikum everyone!
Welcome to my third Steemit post.
In my previous posts, I introduced myself and shared my hobbies and interests. Today, I would like to share something more personal and important: my educational journey.
My educational journey has been quite different from a traditional path. I have experienced education in different cities, studied different subjects, explored science and technology, and later turned my attention towards Islamic education. Along the way, I also realized the importance of practical skills and self-learning.
So, let me take you through my journey.
🏫 My Early School Education
I started my school education in Piplan Tehsil, Mianwali, Punjab.
My first school was Tehsil Public School, where I studied Nursery. This was the beginning of my formal education.
After that, my family moved to Quetta, Balochistan. I continued my education there and studied for approximately three classes in Quetta.
After spending some time in Balochistan, we returned to Punjab and came back to Piplan, Mianwali.
There, I joined Mumtaz Public School, where I continued my studies up to 7th grade.
After completing 7th grade, I moved to another school called Kiran Public School, where I studied 8th grade with Science.
and aftern then I came to kundian where I complete my matric in english medium with bio science in gov boys high school kundian.
🔬 My Interest in Science and Engineering
After that, I continued my education at Government Boys High School in Kundian, Mianwali, where I studied 9th grade and continued towards my matriculation.
During my school years, I developed a strong interest in electronics, engineering, and especially electrical engineering.
I was always curious about how electronic devices worked and how things could be created or improved. During that period, I also tried making different small inventions and experimenting with electronic ideas.
This experience made science more interesting for me because I did not want to simply read about things in books. I wanted to understand how they worked in real life.
Eventually, I completed my Matriculation with Science in English Medium.
Completing matric was an important milestone in my educational journey, but it was also the beginning of a completely different chapter in my life.
📖 Moving Towards Islamic Education
After completing my matriculation, I moved to Dera Ismail Khan to begin my journey of Islamic education and Quran memorization.
I studied there for about one year and memorized several Paras of the Holy Quran.
After that, I moved to Rawalpindi, where I continued my religious education and completed my Hifz of the Holy Quran.
Completing Hifz was one of the most important achievements of my life. Along with memorizing the Quran, I was also continuing my religious studies.
After completing my Hifz, I gradually became more interested in pursuing Islamic education as an important part of my life.
🕌 My Journey of Dars-e-Nizami
After completing Hifz, I started my Dars-e-Nizami journey in Fateh Jang, District Attock.
I studied there for one year. After completing that year, I moved to Lahore, where I continued my Dars-e-Nizami education.
Since then, Lahore has been an important part of my educational journey.
At present, I am continuing my studies in Lahore, and I am now in my second-last year of Dars-e-Nizami.
This journey has taught me that education can take many different forms. Sometimes we learn from classrooms, sometimes from books, sometimes from teachers, and sometimes from our own experiences.
💡 What I Have Learned About Education
One of the biggest realizations I have had during my journey is that formal education and practical skills are both important.
During my school education, I studied many subjects. However, as I entered practical life, I realized that academic education alone is not always enough.
In today's world, skills and practical experience are extremely important.
For example, when someone completes a degree and applies for a job, employers often ask for previous experience.
This raises an important question:
If a person has just completed their education, where are they supposed to get experience?
This made me realize that students should not only focus on completing their degrees. They should also try to develop practical skills while they are studying.
💻 My Self-Learning Journey
Because of this realization, I started exploring online learning.
I have learned many things through YouTube, especially different digital and online skills.
I have also used YouTube and TikTok to improve my English language and communication skills. Watching English videos, listening to different speakers, learning new words, and practicing communication have helped me improve gradually.
I also have some experience using computers and learning different things by myself.
I have not joined a special academy for all of these skills. Instead, I have mostly learned through self-study, online videos, practice, and personal experience.
This has taught me an important lesson:
«Learning does not always require a classroom. Sometimes curiosity, consistency, and the willingness to learn can become your teacher.»
🌱 My Educational Philosophy
Today, I believe that education should not stop with a certificate or degree.
A person should continue learning throughout life.
Formal education gives us a foundation, while practical skills help us apply knowledge in real life. Self-learning helps us explore areas that may not be covered in our classrooms.
For me, the combination of academic education, Islamic education, practical skills, technology, English, and self-learning has become an important part of my personal development.
I am still learning, and I know that I have a lot more to learn.
🤲 A Message and a Dua
I am thankful to Allah for every opportunity He has given me throughout my educational journey.
My journey has not always been straightforward, but every stage has taught me something valuable.
I request all of you to remember me in your prayers, especially for the successful completion of my studies and for a beneficial future.
May Allah make things easy for all of you, bless you with beneficial knowledge, give you success in your goals, and guide all of us towards what is good.
Thank you very much for reading my post and taking the time to learn about my educational journey.
InshaAllah, I will meet you again in my next post with another interesting topic.
