THE DIARY GAME[02/11/2026] HOME ALL DAY AND PLAYING WITH MY LITTLE FRIEND.
Good evening, everybody, and welcome to another episode of my diary game with @roseogbugo. It's another day of telling us how I spent my day. I didn't really go anywhere today, though. I woke up quite late this morning. After praying, I went to the kitchen to fix one or two. The beans in the pot weren't much, and they wouldn't reach everybody, I decided to use them to cook small jollof rice since there was no other option. All the ingredients I needed for the food were already there; I just had to wash the rice twice, put a pot on the fire, and start cooking. I didn't want to waste time doing anything else at that moment because I thought I was running out of time. My brothers were obviously waiting for me to finish cooking so they would eat and go to school, but the day had another plan for them entirely. Unfortunately, I didn't meet up on time, and by the time the food was ready, time had gone so far that they didn't go to school again. When the food was ready, I just dished out our food, both mine, theirs, and my mum's own. Dad had since gone to work, so it was just four of us at home. After we had finished eating, we sat down to relax since no one was going anywhere.

After relaxing, everybody went to do their thing and I took out my phone to watch movies as usual, my mum did the same thing. Funny thing we all fell asleep while watching movies because my brothers later joined me in watching movies on my phone. We slept for a really, really long time; our parlor door was open; we didn't even close it, but it was nothing to worry about. We have an active compound. Nothing would ever go wrong so long as our neighbors were there. That's how much we look out for each other in the compound. I woke up before all of them, and the first thing that came to my mind was food.
Just woke up
I went straight to the kitchen and dished out food for myself. On a normal day, I wouldn't have eaten till maybe later at night or even tomorrow. I just felt like eating today, and I was really happy, though, because I don't get to eat much like I did today. Immediately, I dished out my food, and everybody started waking up one after the other as if it were planned. Since they were all up, I dished out their food at the same time, and we sat down to eat while continuing to watch the movie we didn't finish before we fell asleep. We were still eating when my little friend walked in by himself smiling at us. Each of us took turns feeding him, and he happily ate to his satisfaction.
Having lunch
After we were done eating, we paused the movie we were watching just to play with the boy because he was really in the mood for playing. He also kept going out and coming back to our house at intervals. Even my mum joined in playing with him, that's how much we love him. At a point, he stretched out his hand for me to carry him; anytime he does that I know he's thirsty. He has done it a couple of times that's how I was able to know that he's thirsty. I carried him up and then went to give him water with his own cup. Cute right? Well, he has a special baby cup, baby plate, and baby spoon in our house. We keep it specially for him and he uses them too whenever he's around. Not that he doesn't have them at home but since he's become a visitor and our friend, we decided to have and keep what he'll be using when he's at our house.

We'll really miss him though because we will soon relocate to another apartment. We just have a month to stay in this house and also to spend all the time with him. We might relocate to a farther place where we won't even see each other,he might still be a baby but he's really clever. He'll really miss us and we'll miss him too. Well after we've played with him to his satisfaction, he walked outside to go play with his siblings when he heard their voices. I was checking out my braids if they were old or not so I'd know if I should loosen them and then braid another one,then i remembered that it was just last week or so that I braided them. Well you wouldn't blame me, I'm a hair stylist so I have to keep my part by taking on different hairstyles as part of advertising and announcing what I do, I mean there's no better way than to advertise your work than you wearing it yourself, so that when someone sees my hair and they love it, they start asking who and where you did it. That's when you come out with your full chest and tell them you're the one who did what they love, from there you've just gotten yourself a client without much stress.

Well, when it was 6 pm, I prepared food for everyone, but I didn't dish out mine because I wasn't hungry at that moment. Besides i had just eaten a few hours before, so practically I was satisfied. I just dished out their own food and kept it as usual on the dining table so that when one of them is ready to eat, they wouldn't have to call me to do anything for them, I needed my peace. I spent the rest of my evenings browsing through the internet reading stuff here and there, replying to text messages on WhatsApp, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Preparing to go to bed now, I had fun today though because my little friend came around. See you guys tomorrow and goodnight.
