I have prepared all the ingredients for cooking. Mom said to cook in the clay stove today. So I also went to the roof. My life ended when I started the fire in the clay stove.

Step-01

Then I put the pan on the stove. When the pan is hot, I add oil like a family. Then I add the chopped onions. Then I add the bay leaves, cardamom, and cinnamon. The reason I add them together is because they smell very nice. Then I fry them together and add a little salt.

Step-02

Then when the onion slices turn light brown, I add garlic paste to them. Then I fry them very well in oil, then I add a little water,. After adding water, I add ginger paste, cumin paste, turmeric powder and chili powder in equal amounts.

Step-03

Then I mix them very well. I mash them for a while so that the spices are well mixed. Then when the spices are mixed, when the oil comes out on top, I add the chicken meat. Then I add some pre-cut potatoes. I am a potato lover, so I use potatoes in everything. Then I mix them together well and stir them. Then I cover it with a lid for a while.

Step-04

After a short while, I lift the lid and stir the meat so that the spices don't burn underneath. After simmering for a long time, when the meat dries up and the oil comes to the top, I add enough water. Then I add some chopped chilies and cover with a lid.

So after a while I lift the lid and check if the chicken is cooked or not, it will take a while more so I cover it again. Then I look out the window and see the beauty outside. Then I started thinking that life is really beautiful if we can adapt and take everything easy.

Note: In the middle of cooking, my mother asked me to come back home, so I came back home and started cooking. Because my father had brought a cylinder from the market. We live in a village, and many times when the cylinder runs out, we have to go to the earthen stove to cook.

Anyway, after some time, I finished cooking chicken. No matter what I cook, I never feel tired. I really enjoy cooking. I have loved cooking since I was very young. When I don't have time, I cook chicken like this.

This chicken can be cooked easily and in a short time. I learned this chicken recipe from my mother because I often saw her cooking this way when I was a child. From watching her, I learned it myself, Alhamdulillah. We Bengalis make quick chicken curry this way.
