Which old thing in your house you are still using even after repairing many times?

I bought this mini rechargeable fan some years back in the year 2023. This mini fan means a lot to me because it has a torchlight that we use every day to light the house, especially if there is no electricity. The first thing that developed a fault was the charging point, which made it very difficult to power the fan.

So, I went to the repairer, and he told me what currently happened to my mini fan regarding the charging issue. At the end of the day, he told me they would need to connect a wire cord to the fan directly so that it would not be removable. I find it difficult to throw it away because it's very useful to me, especially during this hot period. I kept enjoying the fan throughout last year when it improved my sleep.

About two weeks ago, it also developed a fault from the same area they repaired, the wire has broken, I visited the repairer again due to the fact that the fan means a lot to me. I wanted to wait till I get money to buy another one. It means that this is the second time I have repaired it. So I visited the repairer again due to the news I read on social media, as well as what I listened to on the radio about the El Niño that will occur across the country. Repairing this fan will help me to be more comfortable through the months that will happen.

I observed that he doesn't use the original wire cord, and the new one I gave him is preferable, which can last for a long period of time. This mini rechargeable fan can be taken from place to place because it helps to relax and refresh me when I wake up. When I reached house I firstly connect it to the electricity so that it can charge as much as possible and enjoy it throughout the day if there is no light.

We should appreciate every household item because they have a special place in our minds, and their service improves our livelihood.
