I hope everyone is doing well. Today, I am creating a new drawing to participate in a contest. In this piece, I have tried to depict a woman's profile alongside a bird and a rose.

I developed each part of the drawing gradually. After sketching the basic outline with a pencil, I worked on the bird, the flower, the hair, and the coloring one by one. I found the entire process quite lovely and unique.

🎨 Step-by-Step Drawing Description

Step 1:

First, I sketched the profile of a woman using a pencil. Then, I drew the shapes of her head, hair, ear, eye, nose, and lips.

Step 2:

In the second step, I drew a bird next to the woman's neck. I carefully sketched the bird's head, body, wings, and tail using the pencil.

Step 3:

In the third step, I drew a rose, some leaves, and a stem below the bird. I drew the rose petals beautifully, one by one. I also sketched a few fallen petals and droplets towards the bottom.

Step 4:

In the fourth step, I began shading the woman's hair using a black pencil. I gradually darkened the entire hair area while trying to maintain the natural flow of the hair strands.

Step 5:

In the fifth step, I started coloring the rose and the leaves. I used red for the rose and green for the leaves. At the same time, I colored the fallen petals at the bottom red as well.

Step 6:

Finally, after adding color to the lips, the facial expression became even more beautifully defined. I also made the teardrops beneath the eyes a bit more distinct so that the emotion of the image would be conveyed more effectively.

Step 7:

In this step, I refined the colors to make them clearer and more vibrant. The blue and red of the bird, the bright red of the flower, and the green of the leaves combine to make the image come alive. I also made minor adjustments where necessary to ensure the overall composition looked neat and polished.

Step 8:

With most of the work done, I reviewed the entire image and added details to specific areas. I particularly refined the eyes, tears, lips, bird feathers, and rose petals. I also added outlines to the image using a black gel pen.

Step 9:

Finally, I added my signature at the bottom of the artwork. This is how the image gradually took its complete form through several steps. I felt a great sense of satisfaction looking at the finished piece.

While creating this image, I focused not only on its aesthetic appeal but also on capturing its emotional essence. I tried to infuse a specific feeling into every color and tiny detail.

I proceeded patiently, step by step. To me, a drawing is more than just a collection of colors on paper—it embodies my thoughts, emotions, and time. I am truly delighted to have successfully completed this artwork.

That is how I completed the drawing, step by step. Each stage, from start to finish, was a unique experience. I enjoyed the creative process and appreciated the opportunity to try something new at every step.
