Sharing My Step-by-step Drawing of a Cute Caterpillar on a Mushroom

Assalamualaikum Everyone. I hope all of you are doing well, having a great time and enjoying your weekend.

Today, I am going to share with you my drawing of a "Cute caterpillar on a mushroom". I used bright colors in this drawing to make it more attractive. Kids love such type of drawings. I will share the whole process of my drawing step-by-step. I hope you like it.

Materials Required

White paper
Lead pencil
Eraser
Pencil colors
Black pointer

Step no 1
In the first step, using a lead pencil, I drew some grass at the bottom of the white paper and then drew the stem of the mushroom.

Step no 2
In this step, I drew the large cap of the mushroom with three circles (spots) on it.

Step no 3
In this step, I drew the lower segmented body and legs of the cute caterpillar sitting on a mushroom.

Step no 4
In this step, I drew the basic structure of the cute caterpillar's face and also two antennas on top of its head.

Step no 5
In this step, I drew the caterpillar's big eyes and mouth. With this, the whole sketch of the cute caterpillar on a mushroom was complete.

Step no 6

In this step, I outlined the whole sketch with a black pointer to make every detail more prominent. At the end, I erased the pencil marks to make it look neat and clean.

Step no 7
Now, it was time to color the sketch. I filled dark green color in the grass and a mixture of peach and brown color in the mushroom stem.

Step no 8
In this step, I filled bright red color in the mushroom cap and orange color in its spots. Then, I filled red color in the cute caterpillar's tongue and black color in its eyes, leaving the inner circles white for a shining look.

Step no 9
In this step I filled dark green color in the antennae and light green color in the remaining whole body of the caterpillar. With this, my beautiful drawing of a cute caterpillar on a mushroom was complete.
