Ludo Game: My First Experience -Won Twice and Lost Once

For quite a long time, I have been planning to join other players to have an experience in playing Ludo game, but I haven't been able. Sometimes due to chance and sometimes due to fear. But I tried going in to play with robot but didn't really enjoy it and so I mustered up courage last night because my son wanted us to play as a family. But due to bad network at home, they couldn't join again.

I made my intentions known to everyone on the discord group after loading 5 steem, thinking that I could get enough players to play 4 men game, but there wasn't enough players. I was advised to play with one person. I had to load another 5 steem and created a room. I was lucky to ay with @steemchiller. In my mind, I already concluded that he will win because he have more experience than me since it is my first time. Little did I know that it doesn't work that way.

Guess what? Well, the bottom line is that I won him. Even I couldn't believe it. We both played so well but it is just a game where only one player has to win.

After the win, I was also invited to play a 2by2 game wherein I need to pair with someone as a team while another pairs with one more person to form a team. I was nervous! I didn't know how it works but I was already out last night to ay this game. I accepted and loaded 10 steem and joined the game. I paired up with @bountyking5 while @steemchiller paired up with @shahid.ikram. the game began, we struggled with each other as expected. I learnt a lot from playing that game which is entirely new from what I knew ludo game to be. Playing as a pair, I am not to kill my pair but our opponents. Additionally, even if I should win, I will have to assist my pair to play until all his game goes in.

However, my teammate and I lost to our opponents. To be truth, I felt confused at some point about understanding the whole game. When I am thinking of what to play after dialing the dial, the robot will automatically play for me and count whatever it wants. Sometimes it will get exactly what I had in mind, at other times it will just play the opposite but then, I loved the fact that I had a helper. We lost, that's the bottom line! I wasn't happy that I lost. But thank goodness that xpilar advised we take a little break. That helped to clear my mind

Then, another game was set. It was another 2b2 game with 5 steem each. I joined and paid with @bountyking5 while @xpilar paired with @steemchiller. I again felt nervous, believing that as experts on one side, they will win. But little did I know that it won't go that way. We played all we knew killing and being killed, geering at losers and cheering at killers. Of a truth, I began loving the game. In the end, I was the first to go into my house and became the winner, but I had to assist my teammate. Luckily to us, he was able to go in with all his game and guess what? We won! It was truly a game! Sometimes it's difficult to predict.

My Experience In the game

As with other games where one had to learn especially if it's first time, I had lots of lessons I learnt while playing

• I learnt that even if you kill someone, you must continue moving your seed until it gets to your house. This is quite different from the offline ludo game that we play over here where one needs to just go home after killing someone. Yes, killing an opponent's game hastens your winning

• The robot plays for you if you waste time. It happened to me severely where I had to think of the right thing to play. It played in my behalf. Sometimes it plays exactly what I want while at other times, it will just play the opposite

• Just as in physical games where you show that you are happy when you are playing well or show your disappointment when you play nonsense or your opponent players quite the opposite of what you expected, you also have the opportunity to show all those in this game where you can either throw some lovely emojis or some jeering emojis. This part is very fun but I didn't really throw much because I was just concentrating on mastering the game first.

• When you load steem and you didn't get players to play with especially if you are the one that created the room, you will have to load another steem to play another one or to create another room. However, that steem you loaded will still return to you after an hour or so. It happened to me

• When you win and it's a 5 steem game, you will get 9 steem automatically and your opponent won't get anything whereas when it is a 2b2 game, bit you and your teammate wins the same 9 steem each. In a 10 steem game, the winners are given 18 steem each if it's a 2b2 game.
