My Work as a Nigerian Barber — Day 1 — Two-Step Fading Haircut

This is a transition video of my customer who came with an afro hair and told me to cut it low and create mounts on the hair to make sense. She didn't want know the style that would make sense, so she told me to suggest for her. Normally, ladies in my city used to barb low cut with a good friction around the edges of the hair.

I suggested two-step Fading for her and she agreed to go by that style. You need to see how this came out. The process was slow and steady because I did a lot of creation. I first gave her a side cut skin cut and a trim which we call fading, by the edges of the main hair. The skin and the trim makes it 2 steps and after that, I added a black dye to make the friction come out well. Look at how satisfied she was with the cut. I didn't stop there.

I used a foam which we use to create mounts on people's hair. That's exactly what I did and it's called Dada in my country, created naturally with the foam.
