Memorable Family Holidays in Morocco after 7 years!

in Steem Kids & Parents • last month

From 15th of July to 15th of August, we went on a family holidays trip to Morocco! Yes, one full month in Morocco, it was a first for me!

I already visited Morocco twice before, first in 2015 and then in 2019, but both time for 15days only!

This time the kids are grown up!

The first two travel was a bit different as the kids were very small, but this time things changed!

Both Rheem and Omar have grown up nicely, and we were all out to have the maximum fun we can.

Traveled to many different cities!

Let me list the cities we visited and stayed over for minimum two nights at each location :

  • Casablanca
  • Safi
  • Essaouira
  • Oualidia
  • Martil
  • Chefchaouen
  • Tanger

I did not go to Marrakesh due to the heat waves during that period. But it was a lot of travelling between these 7 different cities!

I've made different post on each place, but today I want to share highlights on this post, or else this will get too long!

Different Cities...Different Culture...even different weather!

Everything is different in each region of Morocco and you can feel it in all aspects.

Clothes are different, food also...even the weather!

Some places very hot while in Essaouira it was so windy and cold that we could not go our at all at night time!

Oualidia Beach was so nice...

In Oualidia, we got to enjoy the beautiful beaches and discovered the so famous caves found there.

Both Omar and Rheem spent some time playing on the lovely sand and quick swim as it was a bit chilly.

Bluest City of Morocco

Oh Chefchaouen! Everywhere is blue over there!

The best place to take instagram photos!

The only issue we had here, is the altitude and temperature, which made Omar fell sick and we had to cut short the stay in Chefchaouen.

But the place is magical.

My wife and Omar made the poney and horse ride!

They made this experience one night during our stay in Tanger which is located in the northern part of Morocco.

Visiting family in far away villages!

This was memorable too!

On our way to different cities, we made sure to stop over when we passed by the families of my wife.

One village was Sebt Gazoula where we had lunch on the roadside and went to pass some time in the village.

In the photo below are Omar and Rheem with the uncles and grandmother of my wife.

Until the next holiday...

Now we are all back to normal routines and the kids are back at school!

We need to have a balance in life, specially for the kids! Time for enjoy and Time for learning!

I am lucky to have two amazing kids with whom we don't have any issues about school.

The both love going to their respective school.

So here we are friends, some insights of our recent family holidays in Morocco.

We have not yet decided for the next one...

First I need to get my restaurant running then I can start thinking about the next holidays!

Thanks for reading and wish you a pleasant day/evening ahead!
Best Regards

Hola, amigo!

#s34engagement
