The Power of Kindness

Hello everyone how are you all doing today, it's been a while since I posted here on the steamit platform due to some certain personal engagement

Today, I will be taking part in the August contest organized by @ikechukwu77 here in the steem kids and parents community which is titled "The power of kindness"

My personal experience of kindness has really impacted my life in ways beyond imagination, basically I'm a student and I'm self sponsored and the work that I'm doing to sponsor myself in school is "dispatch (delivery guy)"

So for some time now I have been having some challenges most especially with repairing my bike and the worst part of it was that it was time to pay my school fees and I had no money on me

I didn't tell anyone I kept it to myself because I believe that God will make a way for me, then all of a sudden one morning I had a call from my brother, he said that him and my senior brother contributed my school fees for me and they sent me 30,000 naira which was what I used in paying my fees

I wasn't even expecting it but out of nowhere God made a way for me, though I kept asking myself "what if they didn't have money to give me" well that is a big "what if" but I thank God that at the end he made a way for me

Sharing real life kindness serves as an inspiration or a motivation which pushes people give back positively to they society, for example when a person is in need and a total stranger helps him or her out no matter what such a person will not forget how a stranger help him or her and will definitely want to help anyone (stranger) that is in need because he will remember that some time ago he was in that same shoes but someone helped him out

One of the challenges that people tend to face while trying to document and share a genuine act of kindness to people is "criticism", yes people in today's world likes to criticize and condemned

Maybe you're trying to help a starving begger people will say that you're trying to show up, so this are some of the challenges that people do face while trying to show a genuine act of kindness

And the various ways to overcome them is to just overlook their criticism because no matter what people will always talk, and they will always criticize so we just overlook them and continue to be kind to one another because it's always good to be good
