All in one contest W13: Ball pen drawing

Why is drawing with pen so hard....😤😩😩....
I spent more hours on this than drawing with a pencil.
Pen art is indeed a teacher of patience.

I can finish this drawing in few hours. But with all the house chores and busy schedule for me😴, I couldn't. It tooke two days...
With pencil, I can finish it in few minutes. Let's say 15 minutes or less.

STEPS

I started with a normal simple sketch, looking at the reference Image.
After the simple sketch, I outline the sketch to make it more visible.

After the sketch , I started to shade using blending technique.
I began with the eye region. Then completely shades other parts like nose mouth and the rest.

From the face, the shading extended to the neck and clothing as well.
But I used the cross-hatching technique for that.

I made sure that I observed areas with or without lighting.
So, after all the shading, I wrote my username on the page,....
And now, it's ready to be viewed.
