All In One Contest WK 45

Greetings everyone,
For this week's all in one contest, I decided to draw a steemian.
I found one photo in her blog that looked simple and easy to draw , so I picked it up.
@precious9 is the username.

I started with a simple sketch of the whole body of the image, just like in the reference.
I also sketch out the facial features as I avoided making too many mistakes.

I honestly forgot to take pictures of the sketch step by step like I do most times. But, it's just the same technique I've been using, nothing much.
So, this is a complete full sketch without shading.

Now, the shading, which I did with a black ink was still with the same technique.
For the face, I used cross-hatching. For the hair tie , same but more texture.
For the hair, I use the curling technique.

For the clothing, except for the collar and the hand , I used straight hatching.
But the collar and the sides with more texture, I used the cross-hatching repeatedly.
After completing the shading and confirming a resemblance from the reference Image, I knew I had it right and needed to stop right there before spoiling things😂..
But still, I highlighted the edges by adding more texture and correcting few mistakes before blending to make it smooth.

After all, I wrote my username and signed on it .
