I begin today's post by sending my greetings and love to all my friends in the Steemit community. I truly enjoy sharing travel stories and updates about new areas on the Steem-Atlas platform. Today, I would like to present a detailed review regarding the deplorable condition of the roads in the Gobindapur area Dhaka 1230, located near Uttara, Dhaka.

Yesterday, I had to visit the Gobindapur area for some personal business. However, upon arriving and seeing the state of the roads, I was truly shocked and dismayed. The condition of the main road and the inner lanes is so wretched that it is difficult to describe in words. The entire roadway is filled with mud and filthy sewage water. Due to the lack of a proper drainage system, even light rain causes waterlogging that persists for weeks on end.

Crossing the roads in the area has become a difficult battle. Local residents have been forced to lay bricks and small slabs of concrete on the muddy water in a row to facilitate travel. People are crossing the bricks one after the other, almost like crossing a bridge. With the slightest carelessness or loss of balance, there is a risk of falling straight into the dirty muddy water. Walking on this path is extremely dangerous for the elderly and children. Every day, people, from ordinary people to school and college students, have to travel through this suffering.

Similar suffering is seen in the case of vehicle movement. When three-wheeled easy bikes or auto rickshaws move over these potholes and mud, they are at high risk of overturning. In many places, piles of garbage have accumulated on the side of the road, further polluting the environment. In the era of beautiful and planned urbanization, such a pathetic condition of a road in a residential area so close to the capital Dhaka is really very distressing.

Improved drainage system and passable roads are very important for an ideal residential area. It has become urgent to renovate this road in Gobindpur and improve the drainage system. I hope the concerned authorities will take necessary steps to alleviate the suffering of the residents of the area very soon.
