Cactus thorns and some sweet memories of childhood.
Hello friends ❣️
First of all, my greetings and greetings to everyone. How are you all? I hope you are all well by the grace of Allah. I am also well by the grace of Allah, Alhamdulillah. Today I am going to share a wonderful post that I hope you all enjoy, InshaAllah.
Time is a strange beauty in human life. Over time, our fears, preferences, and perspectives change so much. Today, looking at these cacti reminds me of my childhood. A few days ago, while photographing these cacti in my collection, I suddenly dived into the pages of memory.
When I was a child, I used to be really scared when I saw these thorny plants. At that time, they were strange and scary to me. I felt that if I went too close to them by mistake, there might be some danger or I would get hurt by the thorns. My mother always warned me not to go near them, the thorns would grow. That warning from my mother and the strange appearance of the cactus created a kind of fear in my young mind. I used to look at the plants in amazement from afar, but I did not dare to go near them.
However, after growing up, my perspective on life has changed a lot. Now, when I look at these cacti, I no longer feel afraid, but rather feel a strange sense of well-being. Now I think, how wonderful these are! The cactuses that I used to be afraid of, now I am taking care of them with my own hands, photographing them. When I compare that timid childish self with myself today, I laugh a lot. How unnecessary my fear was back then!
In fact, we often fear and avoid many things without realizing it. But when the burden of experience is heavy, we understand that there is a beauty hidden within everything. The hundreds of thorns on the cactus are not its weakness, but its strength to survive. The thorns of the tree that lives tall even in the hostile desert are actually its armor of safety. Now I find a kind of art even among these thorns.
While taking the pictures, I noticed. How aesthetic the shape of the leaves of the cactus and the play of light and shadow can be. When I saw them through the lens, a new world was revealed. It seems that life is just like a cactus. Although it has a layer of hundreds of thorns on top, there is a soft vitality inside. That childhood fear has now turned into a kind of curiosity and love. There are many things at every turn of life, which, although they once seemed scary, become dear to us in the flow of time.
