Kotbari Rail Crossing Abdullahpur.
Dear readers and fellow Steemians, today I am sharing an account of my experience at the major Kotbari railway crossing in the Abdpur area of Dhaka. Abdpur is a small locality situated along the railway line in the northern part of the city, and this crucial crossing lies right at its heart. It serves as a vital gateway to the north of the country, connecting the bustling city with its busy workplaces to the surrounding areas via a network of roads and the railway line.

Upon arriving at the Coatway railway crossing, the first thing that struck me was the vastness and the open vista; the railway tracks stretched straight toward the horizon, framed by clear surroundings and a sense of natural freshness. The scene offered a picturesque blend of large, shady trees and a blue sky, further enhanced by drifting clouds that made the entire atmosphere truly delightful.

This area around the Kotbari railway crossing offers a glimpse into the daily lives of ordinary people; small shops have sprung up along the tracks, and there is constant human activity. In the images, one can see people sitting by the tracks, chatting or engrossed in their own tasks. Although it is a busy crossing, the area remains relatively quiet when no trains are passing, and people cross the tracks with caution; however, the moment a train whistle blows, the atmosphere instantly shifts, becoming charged with alertness and excitement. The railway tracks with their ballast, sleepers, and steel rails create a kind of mechanical beauty that is perfect for photography. I even spotted goats grazing in the bushes along the tracks, bringing a touch of rural simplicity to the midst of the bustling city.

Right next to the Kotbari railway crossing lies a paved road used by rickshaws, auto-rickshaws, and other vehicles; a look at the images reveals that this busy road runs parallel to the railway tracks. The presence of colorful rickshaws adds a lively touch to the entire scene, and since the road connects to the main thoroughfare of Abdullahpur, commuting to and from the area is very convenient.
Amidst the city's brick and concrete, the combination of the railway tracks, the vast open sky, and the surrounding greenery offers a truly soothing sight. The vibrant atmosphere capturing the hustle and bustle of everyday people and their way of life fascinated me. It is an excellent spot for photography, especially for those who enjoy capturing images of railway tracks or urban life.
You, too, might want to take the time to visit the Kotbari rail crossing area in Abdullahpur; it offers a unique experience right in the heart of the city.
