希望大家度过了美好的一天！😎Recently, I had a wonderful dinner gathering with my ex-colleagues from way back in 1989! Can you believe it has been so many years? Time really flies, but it was so nice to meet up and chat again. We decided to meet around 6:30 PM at 111 Somerset in Orchard area. Before heading inside, I snapped a quick photo of the walkway outside 111 Somerset using my phone camera. It is right next to Somerset MRT, making it super convenient for everyone to gather.
最近我和1989年的老同事们一起聚餐！你能相信已经过了这么多年吗？时间真的过得太快了，但能再次相聚聊天感觉特别好。我们决定傍晚6点半左右在乌节路的 111 Somerset 见面。在进去之前，我用手机拍下了 111 Somerset 外面的走廊。这里就在索美塞地铁站旁边，大家集合起来非常方便。

We chose to dine at Great Nanyang Heritage Cafe inside the building. The place has a lovely vintage Nanyang feel with colourful wooden windows, antique displays, and old-school cafe charm.
我们选择在商场里的“大南洋”怀旧咖啡馆用餐。这里的装修充满浓浓的复古南洋风情，带有彩色的木窗、古色古香的摆设以及旧式咖啡店的独特韵味。
For dinner, I decided to try their noodle soup with prawns and shredded chicken. The bowl came served with fresh prawns, shredded chicken breast, fish cake slices, and fresh chives in a warm broth. The soup was tasty and light on the palate.
晚餐我点了一碗鸡丝虾河粉汤。瓷碗里摆放着新鲜的大虾、鸡丝、鱼饼片和青葱，汤头清淡可口，吃起来热呼呼的很舒服。
To complement the meal, I ordered a refreshing hot logan drink served in a vintage mason glass. It was sweet and cool, perfect after the warm noodles. My total meal and drink came up to about $15, which is reasonable enough for a comfortable spot in town.
配合这餐，我还点了一杯装着在复古梅森罐里的龙眼茶。吃完后喝上一口，感觉特别清凉解渴。我这餐面加饮料总共花了约 15 新，在市区舒适的咖啡馆里算是不错的价格。
Here is a group photo of our gathering! It was truly heart-warming seeing everyone looking active and cheerful after all these decades. We chatted about the old working days and caught up on life. Moments like these are priceless.
这是我们大伙儿的大合照！看到大家过了几十年依然健健康康、开开心心的，心里真的很温暖。我们聊起了以前工作的往事，也分享了近况。这样的聚会时刻真的很珍贵。
