Regent Mukhlis Launches Heart Stent Installation Services at Dr. Fauziah Regional General Hospital.

To improve the quality of services, particularly to bring heart disease care closer, Dr. Fauziah Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Bireuen now has a cath lab facility for heart stent installation, and the launch was conducted by Regent Ir. Mukhlis, ST, on Friday morning (July 31st).

Concurrently with the event, a collaboration agreement was held between Harapan Kita Jakarta Heart and Vascular Hospital, Dr. Zainoel Abidin Regional General Hospital, and 22 hospitals throughout Aceh, including Dr. Fauziah Regional General Hospital, the host and center of the event.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Director of Harapan Kita Jakarta Heart and Vascular Hospital, represented by the Head of the Cathlab, Dr. Amir Aziz Alkatari, SP.JP (K), FIHA, and the Director of Dr. Zainoel Abidin Regional General Hospital, Banda Aceh, Dr. Muhazar Harun, SKM., MKes, and the leaders of 22 regional hospitals throughout Aceh. The event took place in the Dr. Fauziah Regional General Hospital Hall.

In his remarks at the event, attended by the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) and relevant officials, Bireuen Regent, Ir. H. Mukhlis, ST, stated that health is a crucial foundation for a region's progress. Cardiovascular disease is a leading cause of death worldwide, including in Indonesia.

With this Cardiovascular Laboratory (CATLab) service, we strive to provide early detection and better treatment for diseases related to the heart and blood vessels.

This CatLab service is equipped with the latest technology and is managed by competent and experienced medical personnel. This is a step forward to ensure that the people of Aceh, especially in Bireuen, do not have to travel far outside the region to receive quality care.

However, the facilities and technology we have are meaningless without awareness from all of us. "Therefore, let us jointly support the campaign for a healthy lifestyle, including regular health check-ups, maintaining a good diet, and being active, as well as the importance of maintaining family health," he urged.

The Regent expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all parties who have contributed to the development and operation of the CatLab service at Dr. Fauziah Regional Hospital.

We especially thank the Ministry of Health, Harapan Kita Heart and Vascular Hospital, the Health Office, medical personnel, and all parties who have worked hard to make this new service possible in Bireuen Regency and other areas of Aceh.

We hope this collaboration will continue to improve healthcare services. "We hope that the inauguration of this Cathlab service will reduce the death rate from heart disease in Aceh, especially in Bireuen Regency," concluded Regent Mukhlis.
