Grasshopper - Macro Photography

A couple of years ago, during our planting time, I stumbled upon this grasshopper in my farm.
When I saw it, walked towards it, I was being careful not to make it fly away.

It was perching on a green rubber and it was eating up a part of the leaf. At first, I didn't know that was what it was doing. My aim was just to get a good shot. Later I realized it was just resting on that rubber.

This kind of grasshopper is always stinky and smelly. During our childhood days, we don't dare touch them. I think that odor is one of their defense mechanism.
