How would you describe the general traffic flow in your region during peak hours? Are there significant differences in traffic between weekdays and weekends?

Cherag Ali Bus Stop is a very busy and crowded bus stop. During peak hours, public transport such as private cars, battery-powered cars and ordinary people can be seen in the buses adjacent to this bus stop. Traffic jams occur in the water and surrounding areas of the flyover. Due to the heavy pressure of office and educational institution goers during the working day, traffic jams and strict enforcement are being tightened. On the other hand, the general traffic during the holidays is less, which leads to a significant number of people and vehicles at this transit point.

What are the conditions of the main roads in terms of maintenance and signage?

Cherag Ali Bus Stop area is a busy part of Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway. There is no killer dream here, but the maintenance and traffic conditions of this main dream are mixed. The flyover and the infrastructure development plan of the main expectation of the development plan of the facility, parking, movement of vehicles and the location often cause traffic jams. Some signboards and traffic signals are not sufficient in terms of direction. At this busy intersection, there is no traffic presence and strength guidance, and chaos is seen between pedestrians and cyclists, which starts to suffer.

The current state of traffic signs and controls on the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway and BRT project section adjacent to Cherag Ali Bus Stop is inadequate. The effectiveness of the advanced traffic light system in this busy area is almost absent. As a result, strict enforcement of specific rules is not seen in the case of vehicles and pedestrians. In the absence of signals or automated systems, traffic police and guides have to maintain hand signals and physical presence. Due to additional inadequate traffic signboards and frequent ups and downs, chaos and traffic jams often occur on this important corridor.

What types of vehicles are most prevalent on the main roads in your region?

The main public transport and various types of mechanical and non-mechanical vehicles are permanently located near Cherag Ali bus stop. The most common of these are:
Buses: Representatives of various companies plying the Dhaka-Mymensingh route such as Bus Kara and Anabil Partil.
Private cars and cars: Various fast private cars and small motor vehicles.
Rickshaws and auto-rickshaws: Battery-operated rickshaws and traditional rickshaws for local travel.
Goods vehicles and others: Various tracks, lagoons and pedestrians overflowing with crowds are the scene of this incident.

How would you describe the driving culture in your region? Are drivers responsible behind the wheel?

The driving culture and responsibility of drivers in the area adjacent to Cherag Ali bus stop is quite disappointing. The tendency of drivers to disobey traffic laws and drive at high speed is very common among the main members of this region. The local area often increases the risk of accidents by not stopping the designated bus and by jumping and jumping off the bus without stopping. Furthermore, the general public and other drivers are being harassed due to ignoring signals and not responding. Many drivers are questionable and lack of responsibility in following traffic rules.
