Reviewing plays an important role for the present time on this platform. In this context, let's move to the contest of the sixth week of the 33th season. Our dear brothers @kibreay01 and @adeljose are experienced members of this platform. Through them, we will try to highlight this important topic today, Insha'Allah.
If a busy city experiences traffic jams during the busiest time, the situation becomes terrible. The area where I live is called Bogura, and the most crowded part of Bogura district is its city. Every corner of the city has traffic jams. There is a huge amount of traffic congestion here. In Bogura city, traffic jams last continuously from 8 in the morning to 9 at night.
The area where I live is called Thontone, and the main reason for traffic jams here is that there is a bus stand. Besides that, there are several big hospitals here. Also, it’s a main road, and this road is used to go into the city. Because of all these reasons, getting around here can be a bit difficult. On top of that, big buses, minibuses, and motorcycles all pass through here.
Also, if I try to point out whether there is a difference in traffic between holidays and non-holidays, I would say that it’s not much—just slightly more or less. Like on Fridays, traffic is a bit lighter compared to other days, but it’s not significantly higher either. Because Bogura is a busy city, even on holidays it becomes an even busier city.
In terms of maintenance and guidance, I would definitely say the roads are very good. But the current situation is a bit different. Many of you know that Bogura was recently promoted to a city division. Even though there used to be a lot of traffic jams, being a city now has caused even more traffic here.

Compared to before, the main roads here need to be even bigger because things were one way before, but now they are different. The inner roads here aren't really that good. They are quite broken and the drains are very messy. Because of this, small vehicles end up avoiding the inner roads and use the main roads instead, which causes such traffic jams.
I had said that our Bogura city was supposed to be of a much higher standard, but it hasn’t really turned out that way. I’ve heard that this is a BNP area, a politically influenced area, which is why, during the 17 years that the Awami League has been in power, there hasn’t been any remarkable development. For example, to answer the question, there’s no traffic light system here, which is why it hasn’t become a developed area.

However, there are quite a few police officers stationed here who are on duty. Also, for traffic improvement, whatever measures have been taken, like using boxes and giving warning signs in a clear format, are being followed in a particular way. Things are being managed somehow, and since work is still ongoing, hopefully, things will get better in the future.
To be honest, in the area where I live, if I talk about the main roads inside the city, all kinds of vehicles move here since this isn’t an outer highway, but rather the big and main roads within the city. On such big roads, you mostly see large vehicles like buses and trucks.

But it’s a bit different here. In most cases, I personally feel that battery-operated vehicles like auto vans are more common. That’s because this is the current mode of transportation within the city, and battery-operated vehicles are still not banned. Although the main reason for traffic jams is these vehicles.
When it comes to driving culture, I definitely respect the good drivers here. Because here, all types of vehicles, big and small, move together, and it wouldn't be possible to do well without such normal drivers. There are quite a good number of skilled drivers here, especially for big vehicles like buses, trucks, and minibuses.

However, I blame the battery-operated auto-rickshaws because they are generally not good drivers. Just keep in mind, in our country there is no specific license required to drive these kinds of vehicles. Someone coming from a village can drive a battery-powered car on main roads. They have no experience, no training at all.
The environment stays good if traffic laws and the traffic system are good. I think the environment is already nice, but it would be even better if the traffic laws and systems were better. Because all around us, there are natural surroundings, beautiful buildings, and very important places. So I think things would be even better if the traffic laws and systems were improved.
