Assalamu Alaikum dear friends, how are you all? I hope everyone is well by the grace of Allah. Today I am here with a review of a wonderful place. One of the joys of traveling is enjoying beautiful moments in beautiful places. This was such a beautiful moment where I had a great time. A beautiful spot outside the July Uprising Memorial Museum where a portrait of the Down with the Dictator movement has been created. During the July Uprising, there was heavy rain. Despite the heavy rain, Bangladeshi students were protesting on the streets. It was created as a portrait of the struggle they waged to overthrow the dictatorship with their bodies soaked in rain.

These portraits and statues recall moments from that time when students were fighting for a long time on the streets, focusing on the autocracy movement. Even during the heavy rain, two students stood and loudly chanted slogans against tyranny. The portraits of the two students who raised those thunderous slogans against tyranny have been immortalized in this place. This is a place where a spot has been created and these idols have been placed there. A shower is flowing like rain from all around. Although it was artificially created, it evokes a memory that played a great role in the fall of the authoritarian regime. At that very moment, when the students could not stop their movement despite the heavy rain, a tremendous amount of inspiration was awakened among the people.

The then fascist government carried out these acts indiscriminately against these students. The movement was ongoing. In any case, this movement was called to bring Sheikh Hasina to power as the first autocratic government. This is the facade of a museum where this statue has been erected. The moment of bathing in the rain, as the students were chanting slogans during the protest, is depicted in this statue. The students were clapping their hands and shouting slogans against the dictatorship. One, two, three, four, Sheikh Hasina, get out of bed. Amidst this slogan, the July Uprising movement of that time became even more vibrant. At that time, all the students had one demand, which was one point. The dictatorial government fell through a single demand.

This fate was due to the ongoing anti-democratic culture of the authoritarian government and the indiscriminate shooting of students. This statue was created by the Bangladesh government to capture that memory. It is now a history for the Bengali nation. Beautiful decorations and excellent methods have been adopted to build it. All the secrets, including the story behind its creation, have been revealed here. As I watch these very captivating scenes, I find inspiration in the memories of the July Uprising. The fall of the dictatorship and these movements were the best tools as one of the charters of liberation for the Bengali nation. This memorial sculpture was built in memory of the protesting students.

I went to the Dhaka July Uprising Memorial Museum to tour this wonderful place. I had a great time enjoying this wonderful view outside the museum. The place is very beautiful and the sculpture has been built under an open sky in the middle of green nature. Thank you very much, everyone.
