If you are looking for a bit of tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of our mechanical city life, DC Hill in Chattogram is an excellent destination. Located in the Momin Road area near DC Hill, you will find 'Bangladesh Nursery' one of the largest nurseries in the city.

Since it is situated in a well-known part of the city, the nursery is easily accessible. You can reach it affordably by rickshaw, CNG, motorbike, or bus. The nursery offers a wide variety of plant saplings, seeds, and medicinal plants, along with all the essential supplies for planting and caring for greenery such as soil, fertilizers, pots, pot hangers, and various other gardening tools. I recently visited this nursery to purchase some plants and fertilizer. Today, I will share a review of 'Bangladesh Nursery,' located on Momin Road.

At the Bangladesh Nursery, a wide variety of plant seedlings are neatly arranged both inside and outside the premises. The indoor section primarily features various types of houseplants designed to enhance the beauty of interior spaces; these include cacti, bonsai, money plants, and a diverse range of other ornamental plants.

In another part of the indoor area, various essential gardening supplies are displayed. This includes pots in a variety of designs suitable for use on balconies or rooftops along with pot hangers, organic and chemical fertilizers, and soil, which is a fundamental component for planting. The soil can also be customized mixed with various additives to suit specific planting needs. Consequently, anyone interested in gardening can source soil, plant seedlings, and all other necessary supplies from this location.

In the outdoor area of the Bangladesh Nursery, a wide variety of plant saplings are on display. You can find everything here—from medicinal plants to flowering shrubs, fruit-bearing trees, and various ornamental species.

What I loved most about this nursery was seeing flowers of different colors blooming on plants of the same species. The vibrant array of colors on these plants was truly a sight to behold; the beauty of the blossoms brought the entire space to life. Witnessing such a scene makes you want to leave behind the hustle and bustle of city life, even if just for a moment, and lose yourself in the embrace of nature.

Every day, many people visit this outdoor section of the Bangladesh Nursery to browse through the diverse collection of plants. Some come to purchase saplings for their own gardens, while others arrive simply to enjoy the beauty of nature. To me, this space feels like a green sanctuary amidst the mechanical, fast-paced life of the city. The surrounding greenery, colorful flowers, and refreshing atmosphere offer a sense of peace to the mind. Being here serves as a poignant reminder of just how vital such pockets of nature are to our lives in a busy urban environment.

I visited this nursery in the afternoon, intending to look around and perhaps buy a cactus seedling. However, as the cactus which originated from Thailand was beyond my budget, I ended up not purchasing it. After exploring the nursery, I felt that 'Bangladesh Nursery' offers everything one might need to start a garden.
