But there is much more happening underneath the romance. Marfil's family has secrets, Sebastián has his own mysterious past, and the danger surrounding Marfil has not disappeared. When they return to Spain, the film expands the story into a world where money, family connections and hidden motives make it difficult to know who can actually be trusted.
What stood out most after watching Drawn Together is how much the movie depends on the chemistry between its two leads. Ester Expósito gives Marfil a strong and impulsive personality, while Hugo Diego Garcia plays Sebastián as the quiet and mysterious protector.
