Hello, I'm @toufiq777

I hope everyone is doing well; I am also fine by the grace of God.

Ram Sagor, According to popular historical accounts, this place was named after Maharaja Ramnath of Dinajpur. It is located approximately 8 km from Dinajpur Sadar.

The entrance ticket to Ram Sagor costs 20 BDT per person, while children can enter for free. Ram Sagor remains open from 5:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Ram Sagor is a man-made lake. Its vast body of water, the surrounding greenery, and the beautiful trees make it a wonderful place to visit. Several temples can also be seen within the area.

The lakeside is an ideal place for walking and enjoying nature. In the early morning, there are very few visitors, and the surroundings remain quiet and peaceful. It is a beautiful place to calm your mind and lose yourself in the beauty of nature for a while.

The gentle chirping of birds adds to the peaceful atmosphere. Goats and cows belonging to local people can also be seen wandering around the area. Altogether, Ram Sagor is a truly beautiful and charming place.

During my visit to Ram Sagor, I had several unique experiences. One of them was discovering how local children make flower-like decorations from date palm leaves. These handmade flowers look similar to lotus flowers.

I spoke to one of the children, who told me that their grandmother had taught them how to make these flowers. I recorded their flower-making process on my camera.

For some local people, especially underprivileged women, making these flowers has become a small source of livelihood. I also saw many women selling peanuts. They buy raw peanuts at a low price, roast them, and sell them to earn a little money.

While I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful natural surroundings, witnessing these people's efforts to earn a living taught me something different about life. It reminded me that behind the beauty of a place, there are also stories of hard work, struggle, and survival.

As Ram Sagor has many trees and green spaces, some areas are quite dense, almost like a jungle. Unfortunately, these secluded areas are also said to attract groups of troublesome young men, and reports suggest that some inappropriate activities take place there.

The authorities should pay more attention to these issues and take the necessary steps to ensure the safety of visitors.

We also visited the small zoo inside the area, where we saw only deer, snakes, and monkeys. I believe the zoo could be made more interesting by introducing some additional animals and birds. There seems to be enough space for them, but this aspect has not received much attention.

Moreover, the entire Ram Sagor area is not properly enclosed. I believe the authorities should take steps to secure the whole area and improve its management.

With proper planning and effective initiatives, Ram Sagor could become an even better tourist destination.

Ram Sagor is a popular destination among people in our region. In addition to enjoying the vast lake and its beautiful surroundings, visitors can experience boat rides, participate in wedding photoshoots, and enjoy the peaceful natural environment.

Many Hindu visitors also perform various religious rituals and pujas at this location.

A large number of people visit Ram Sagor regularly, and this popularity continues to this day. The late afternoon is particularly suitable for photography because of the beautiful greenery and natural light.

Its popularity is not limited to local residents. People from different parts of Bangladesh also visit Ram Sagor, and many come from other districts to enjoy picnics with their families and friends.

All in all, Ram Sagor is a well-known and attractive destination where natural beauty, local culture, and everyday life come together to create a memorable experience.
