From there, you have to take an auto rickshaw to Sylhet Shahjalal Mazar Dargah Gate. There you can see these and Ittadi cottage industry shops located on the side of the road. There is a signboard and detailed details written in front of the shop.

Every product is beautifully arranged. Customers come from far and wide and all the products are kept according to their needs. All the furniture here is made of bamboo and rattan.
The price of each product is fixed here so that customers can see them and do not have to worry about the price. You will be surprised to see their business style because they attract customers in a unique way. The wheelchairs made of rattan are the most attractive here. | Tell us the challenges people are facing in this occupation |
|---|
Those who are engaged in this profession have been involved in this business for many years. That is why they know how to deal with customers. What are the needs of customers, so they are doing business according to their needs and according to their skills. I think their business idea is very unique and they know very well how to attract customers.
That is why all the products are very beautifully arranged, sometimes they are sold as discounts, then they are more profitable. But sometimes they face challenges. When it is off-season, because then there are fewer customers. Also, you can see some wooden glasses here. Which have to be made in a unique style and their price seems a little high. That is why they face a little challenge while selling them.

This profession can improve the economic condition of my area a lot. Because it is a cottage industry and it is a traditional business of Bangladesh. People have been involved in this business for many years. I think if this business spreads to every part of Bangladesh, it will be very good and it will be very beneficial for the businessmen. All the equipment and furniture used in this business do not require much money to make.
The bamboo and rattan used here are around us. Due to which there is no need to procure any equipment from foreign countries. Due to this, this business can develop Bangladesh a lot economically. If small families can run this business, they will improve financially. Besides, there are some extravagant furniture here which have further increased the beauty of the business.

Review:
Traders contribute to the economy of a community through paying levies and taxes, and in rural areas, many people are into such a type of business. Businesses require special managerial skills; otherwise, it would be difficult for traders to grow when there is mismanagement of resources. Looking at the craft work in the shop reminds me of when I wanted to go and learn craft.
