Hello amigos, I am back again to join you all on the new acceleration contest and right here I will share with you all what I think about focusing on our goals or better still enjoy the ride, I believe that in life that we will surely encounter mistakes and it would help shape the kind of person we are today.

Do you think it's better to focus on reaching your goals or just enjoying the ride?

In my opinion, it would be more efficient if we could focus not only on the achievement of our goals but also have some fun during the process of achieving our goals. Undoubtedly, I believe that everyone of us has something to achieve in the future course of our life, and the way to the target is as important as the result itself. Nevertheless, in most cases, when focusing on our goals we most not care about having fun and good memories on the way to them.

In my case, I would say that it would be very unpleasant to realize my aspirations without any positive impressions left. It is important to know how to enjoy the trip, have fun, spend time with your family members, and make mistakes and learn from them. There will be some hard moments on the way, but they can bring us some experience and wisdom to tackle the journey that is still to come.

What’s a mistake you made that actually ended up being a good thing in the long run?

When I was in school, there is one incident in particular during a Chemistry exam that I would like to share. At that time we were supposed to write an exam that was actually a quick quiz. One of the questions was on the atomic number of neon. At that particular time, I was lost and did not know whether the answer to the question was 10 or 11.

The rest of the class believed that the answer was 11 while I opted to choose 10 based on what I thought was best for me at that moment since I had not paid attention to the lecture on the introduction of the topic. I ended up being right as after the exam, I realized that my answer was right. The atomic number of neon is 10 and it felt great knowing that I was the only one who got it right, and I learned that it's good to sometimes be the exception in the majority.

From this experience, a few things became clear to me. First of all, one should be ready to take responsibility for his/her actions regardless of the result and be prepared to face it's consequences. In addition, I discovered it is important to pay attention in class and learn something yourself rather than just taking notes from other people and making a wild guess.

Nowadays, I try to learn from any experience I had previously and apply it to preparing for the coming examination I will writing next year to pursue addition into the university. This way, I can always be aware that although some things may go wrong in life, and that everything is not necessarily doomed to go downhill, which can happen if one doesn't prepare on time.

Do you feel like you’re still the same person you were a few years ago, or have you become someone totally new?

However, there is one thing in life I know for sure that must keep taking place and it's change. We have to grow and adapt since our environment keeps changing, and so do our circumstances and situations in each day that passes.

If I could look back at the past couple of years, I could confidently say that I am not the same person I used to be anymore. Indeed, I have become much more mature and realize how important it is to have good morals, reputation and to work hard for everything you want to get, because no one will if I don't. And I also understand that growing up is about taking responsibilities for yourself rather than counting on someone else all the time because they may not always be there for you.

Another crucial thing I have learned during this time is the importance of caring about myself despite the need to be kind to others. In the past, we might care so much about other people that we forget about our well-being and happiness. However, it turns out that caring about others does not mean forgetting our own peace or getting sick due to stress of putting others first all the time.

Sometimes we have to set some limits and realize that not everyone will be pleased with us and to always remember that few people care for us, and these are those individuals that are always there for us in difficult moments and trust me these are the people that love us the most not those who find pleasure as things keep going well.

Who is someone you met who changed the way you look at things?

My Boss and I

The one who influenced my perception of life is my boss at the barbing salon I attend to learn how to cut hair. Until I met him, I had no clear idea about the amount of effort and patience needed to accomplish something meaningful in my life. From him I learned that it requires discipline, dedication and willingness to continue to make efforts even in those situations when nobody notices and appreciates my efforts.

He taught me that I always have to be ready to work without external stimulus, encouragement or recognition from others. Because he let me understand that most times people prefer to appreciate the efforts you make only after the results become evident before their eyes. That is why now I know that I do not have to rely on any person or motivation to keep moving until I prove myself.

Moreover, he also made me realize that I have to be loyal to my in life, stay committed to my tasks and stop being preoccupied about when my efforts would start producing it's fruit. Instead of thinking all the time when the success will come, I have to think about what I need to do now to reach the success in future.

Now I started to perceive the work and my life progress from a different perspective. I learned that all the things take time and not all the efforts lead to success right away. I am still learning, but I hope that with enough patience, consistency and devotion to improvement, I will be able to succeed in the future.

If you could go back and redo one part of your life, would you actually want to?

If there was an option available for me to go back and do something differently in my life, I would be careful about my decision. The reason behind this is that I think each experience, whether good or bad, has made me who I am today. Even the mistakes that I have made have been a key element in teaching me lessons and helping me make wise decisions.

I don't want to change anything from the past; rather, I would like to move forward and plan ahead and hope for the best. Though I understand that life has many difficulties ahead for me, I still hope that I would manage to cope with them by being patient and trusting God.

Above everything else, my prayers are that God guides, protects, and enlightens me in all that I do.

I would like to invite;
