Hello, everyone in the community! I am excited to greet all members of our wonderful community and share the events of my Saturday, the first day of August 2026. Despite it being a cold and rainy day, I felt grateful to God for the gift of life and the chance to witness the start of a new month.

A PEACEFUL AND RAINY BEGINNING TO August 2026

My day began early in the morning as I prepared for the Fresh Anointing Service at the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria. I arrived around 6:00 a.m. and joined others in prayer and worship. The service lasted until about 7:30 a.m. and was a refreshing and inspiring way to start the month, entrusting the days ahead to God.

After the service, I returned home, just as the rain began to pour heavily. It was noticeably cold, prompting me to stay indoors for the rest of the day. Given the weather, I opted to relax at home instead of going out.

Once settled in, I took a shower and did some light cleaning to keep my space comfortable. As hunger set in, I decided to prepare a meal. I already had stew in the fridge, so I just needed to boil some rice. I cooked the rice, heated the stew, and enjoyed that for my meal.

Interestingly, I skipped breakfast that morning, so around 2:00 p.m., I had my first meal of the day, which served as both breakfast and lunch. After eating, I relaxed, played games on my phone, and listened to the rain outside.

The cold weather lingered throughout the afternoon, so I went back to bed for a peaceful rest. It was a quiet day that allowed me to unwind and recharge from prior activities.

Later in the evening, once the rain let up, I stepped out briefly to get a haircut in preparation for Sunday. Following that, I returned home, had dinner, and reflected on the calm and peaceful nature of the day.

Although the rain limited my outdoor activities, I am thankful for a day filled with prayer, rest, and God's blessings. It was a wonderful way to kick off August, and I look forward to the opportunities and experiences this month will bring.

Thank you for taking the time to read about my day. Wishing everyone a blessed and fruitful month ahead!
