Explain "Opportunity" in your own simple way
Opportunity is when we receive a chance that can significantly improve our lives. It could even be said that opportunity is something we can find in our lives that can elevate our lives from a state of poverty to a state of wealth if we get a good opportunity. Opportunity is also a situation where, with that opportunity, we can transform our lives from a chaotic life to a happy one.
Opportunity can come at any time and from anywhere, and it can also come from directions and places we don't expect. Opportunity is also a stepping stone from our current life circumstances. That's the opportunity I understand and what I can explain to my fellow Steemians today.
What opportunity have you missed in the past that you wish you could have again?
Several years ago, I had a substantial amount of money in my account that would have allowed me to reclaim my rice paddy from the pawnshop. However, I didn't take advantage of the opportunity and instead invested it in investments, which ultimately failed.
Now, I desperately want to reclaim my rice paddy, but I'm short on cash. It was a huge, wasted opportunity in my life. If I had a substantial amount of money now, I would immediately take my rice paddy from the pawnshop.
I would also invest in real-world investments, such as buying assets, land, gold, and so on. That was an opportunity I missed, and I deeply regret it today. But it's all a lesson for me, and I've become wiser in managing my finances.
Why did you miss it, and how did you know it would be one of the best things that could have happened to you?
I used to think I could double my money from that investment, allowing me to pawn the land and buy more. However, I failed in that investment, and now I regret it because I know that if I hadn't invested my money and pawned my rice field, I would have been able to work now.
Moreover, the rice fields in our village are now irrigated again because the dam is in good condition. Yesterday, when I had a lot of money, the dam broke, so I didn't take my rice field from the pawnshop. I thought, if I took the rice field from the pawnshop, I wouldn't be able to work because we didn't have enough water.
And today, the water in the irrigation system is flowing smoothly as usual, allowing us to plow the fields as usual, while my rice field is still pawned, preventing me from plowing it. This is truly a huge regret in my life.
What advice do you have for our readers?
If you want to make a decision in your life, I suggest you ask people who are wiser and smarter than you about it. Never assume your opinion is the most correct in the world. Ask for opinions from others and listen to the opinions of those more experienced than you to improve your life.
