My Life, My Journey

in Steem4Nigeria5 days ago

Life is really very unbalanced and, whether we like it or not, it comes in stages. Right now, I am going through one of the most difficult stages of my life.

I am always feeling cold, especially at night and in the mornings, which is one of the reasons I wake up late almost every day. Being jobless also makes it harder to have a reason to get up early.

I have some health issues that require both major and minor surgeries, but I cannot afford them. I lost my job because of these health challenges, and the only type of job I can realistically do right now is remote work.

The frustrating part is that I have the skills, but I haven't been lucky enough to find a remote job yet.

I can't do a normal 9-to-5 job because I fall sick every now and then. What makes it even harder is that I don't look like what I am actually facing. One minute, I can be fine, active and all over the place, and the next minute, I can barely lift a finger.

Convincing people that I am not okay has therefore become something I no longer bother myself with.

All my life, I have been an independent young lady who relied on my hard work for my livelihood and survival. I have also been single-handedly taking care of my mum.

Now, I have become this beautiful young lady who cannot even afford to buy her own bathing soap.

I now depend on my aged mother, who earns just ₦25,000 a month as a cleaner. There is no helping hand from anywhere, no shoulder to lean on, and sometimes, not even enough money to buy ordinary airtime.

But one thing is certain: this is only a phase, and it will pass.

With God on my side, I believe I will overcome this. I am an overcomer.

To everyone going through a difficult season, we will overcome together. Just don't give up yet.

Have you ever gone through a season when everything suddenly changed? How did you get through it?

If you're going through a difficult season right now, what keeps you going?

Try to join contests especially those you make a chance to win, make you visible and write, write, write. Trust me I recognise a lot of what you are writing and with us there are many more. You also should use hashtags describing your post! What you use doesn't make you visible! How will you search to find this post back?

I love how you stay positive. And if it comes to soap and depending on your mom ... It is good you have her and she is willing to help you no matter what. Many do not even have that and it is as you say: this will pass!

I send you a big hug. You are a beautiful lady, capable and that job will come.

Please, keep the titles of your post unique and inviting "the diarygame" is not an eyecatcher and a post I and many others skip.

Hashtags you could use for this post are: #life #thoughts #jobless #writing #positive #steemexlusive

Thank you so much for your response, advice, and encouragement. It really means a lot to me.

As for the tags, topics, and the rest, I’m a newcomer, so I’m still trying to find my way around and understand how the platform really works. I don’t fully understand how the contests work yet, but I’ll learn more about them and hopefully get the hang of things with time. Thank you once again for your guidance and support.

If it comes to contests, just follow the rules and after the contest expired winners will be announced. You can earn: Steem, SP (powered up.Steem), UVF (the more you have, the more automatic upvotes you receive in a comment or post), SBI works the same you just do not receive upvotes on comments. Next you can receive upvotes from a community or higher ranked Steemian and of course, one of the steem curator teams.
If one of the teams nominate you, this means SC01 will upvote one of your posts. This account can give higher upvotes than the SC teams.

There are options to earn but therefore you should be original, no double posting on other platforms, no AI, no plagiarism. Votes can also be taken away and if you continue or spam down votes can also be the result.

Thanks so much for your response. I'm very grateful.

Thank you sooooo much.

I really admire how positive you are about life. I wish I had that level of positivity. I know I would be happier. The only thing that keeps me going during a difficult time I'd prayers and also music. I really hope you get better. Sending love 💕

Thank you so much dear. Someimes what makes things easier and bearable when life happens is just to keep faith, be positive about the situation and hope for the very best than can come out of the situation through total dependence on God.
