Dairy game:17/09/2026-using my science experience to fix a faulty wire at work.

Hello my lovely steemit fam, wellcome to another episode of my dairy game ,with yours faithful @kali07 .on today's episode I will be sharing with you how they electricity at work frustrated me ,and turning me in an electrician.

So I woke up today ,took my bath as usual and get set for work ,I walk down to they main road and book a bike to my working place ,so on my way going I noticed their was nepa light ,so I was every happy because as a tailor you need light to bring out a very need an clean work.so I was very very happy,that I even told they bike man to add some speed so that I can go to work and enjoy they light ,you know how nepa light behave in this country no guarantee.lolzz .

So I enter in to the shop and I noticed something immediately,no light in they plaza.ahhh God abeg ooo ,me that was happy I will come an make use of they light ,but unfortunately on reaching I didn't see light ,so I quickly rush outside to confirm from neighbors if it's general or only our plaza ,so I checked an confirmed it yes ,it's our plaza only,so I rush back an took they key and open where our meter is place .

So I checked the meter and I see yes we still having some units on it ,but then no light ,ahhh kasala don burst,so I stood Thier for some minutes trying to understand what's wrong,but still couldn't understand anything, besides it's not my work ,so I just have to call and electrician.so I pick up my phone I checked for the electrician number, because we have an electrician that normally work for us ,so I called him ,and immediately he picked up ,I explain to him that Thier was light at they moment but our plaza is not having light,can he come around to check what might be they fault.

So he assured me that yes he will come that I should give him at least 10 minutes he will come ,so I was very happy at least feeling some relief because he assured me of coming,so I just went back inside my shop and sit down waiting for him ,I waited for 15 minutes but still he Hasn't come ,then I waited for another 5 minutes I didn't still see him ,so I call him again ,he picked they call and start giving me some silly excuses that ,he went for a work that he thought he will be done in a little time ,but unfortunately the work is kind of big .I just got angry and cut they call then I sat down thinking on what to do next.

But then I just pick it as a challenge,I just told myself that I'm a science student and we did some of this things during my school days ,so I can give it a try ,so I go to my locker ,I pick up some working tools then I went to they meter place .

So first I checked from red wire and they black wire ,and I carefully observe if their is any partial contact or a wire left his position,but still I didn't see anything,then I try having some courage to touch at least a wire to see they reaction,so I use they working tool an touch they wire ,then it spark ,I love back a little, because it's electric so I have fear ,then I touch it again and it spark , that's when it get to me that okay they problem is they wire is not properly connected ,so I remembered what my lecturer use to tell use always make sure ,you remove they cut out before trying to fix they light ,so I remove they cut out and I fix back they wire properly,then put back they cut out and ,yes light has restore.

After when I'm done fixing they light at was very happy,them boom my electrician just drop from bike ,I just turn and told him that I have fixed they light ,me sef no small lolzz ,so he apologize for the disappointment and left ,and me to get back in to they shop and continue my work .
