Steemit challenge season 34: week 10: Question 1: what's your hobby
Hobbies are things we love to do, to us they are stressless no matter how much hours in put into it. I have a lot of hobbies but my favorite hobby is watching movies
Watching movies is my favorite hobby I enjoy it so much, I use it to relax my mind, distract myself from stress and think off the box.
For me, watching movies is beyond just seeing people act on screens. When I watch movies I see the intent of the writer, I try to picture myself in that field of firm making, making sure I pay close attention to details that an ordinary person seeing a movie will not do. Such details may include;
- Sound/ music quality
- Visuals/ cinematography
- Settings
- Costumes
- Character Display
Before, if I must watch a movie it's either am buying a CD plate from a movie vendor on the street or watching from a television station but technology has made things a lot easier, now I can see a movie from YouTube, go to cinema, or from a service providers like DStv, Gotv, movie box and the rest of them.
I love to watch any kinds of movies except horror movies. Am a fan of romantic and action movies. I love movies that are suspense filled, that I can never predict. Sometimes those kinds of movies end in an unexpected ways and I see my self watching the continuation in my dream, so funny!
I have been been watching movies for many years now, infact right from my childhood, informs of cartoons. Back then some of my favorite cartoons was ;
Snow white and the 7 dwarf
An Animated Movie was released in year 1937
By the walt DisneyPinnochio
Animated Movie released in the year 1940
Was written by a group of persons
But now that I am grown, my interest has deepened a lot more, I am no longer interested in cartoons alone but other adult movies.
When I watch movies alone or with friends I like to critically analyze the whole story, script and everything. Sometimes I do it while watching the movie, other times I do it after watching the movie. Some time in the future I think I would look into becoming a movie critic. But so far I have attempted hosting movie publication on this platform known as movie highlights and it went on for a long while.
Movie Highlight was a weekly publication where I analyze different kinds of movies especially trending ones for fun, relaxation and interaction.

After the introduction of the publication, I went on to do several series on it and it was really a lovely experience analyzing movies for users on the platform, telling them what to expect in the movies.

I also moved on to host movie challenge in Steemit engagement challenge many times which beared different names at different seasons. For example in season 25, my movie challenge was named Movie Snapshot, season 28 it was named Movie highlights, season 31 it was named Movie magic and season 33 it was named Movie Diaries challenge.

All these works has proceeded from my love for movies which is my favorite hobby. Watching movies also makes me so happy.
I don't think there is anyone in my family who share the same hobby with me. My siblings are all busy chasing after their careers and looking after their family. But when we were all much older we all enjoyed watching movies together. There were in times my siblings received some strokes of cane because they had gone to neighbors house to watch movie.
I don't have children yet but I believe one of the ways to bond as family is to do things together which includes watching movies, therefore I intend to introduce this hobby to my children. I wouldn't them to be good story tellers just like me. So I can't wait for them to experience the world through movies.
There is no special skill needed to learn how to watch a movie, all you need in an ample time and maybe the patience to stay through it till the end because sometimes some movies may look boring at the beginning but as you keep on watching it gets interesting and you won't even remember there was a time it was boring. If you decide to watch the movie with your phone, you need an Internet connection and data.
I didn't learn how to watch movies from anyone, I just grew up to love it and every day I love it more. Keeping up with watching movies this days cost money. Personally it cost me data and battery. I mostly watch movies now on YouTube so I need a lot of data to either download it or just watch directly. Sometimes I have to subscribe my DStv decoder or Gotv decoder to be able to watch movies on Television so it all cost money.

Personalmente me inclino más hacia los libros, pero también sé disfrutar una buena película y nos permite tanto distraernos como relajarnos después de un día pesado. Hoy en día se ha vuelto más simple verlas, antes como dice, había que ir por los cd, que bueno los avances que hemos tenido respecto a lo tecnológico. Le deseo mucho éxito, saludos

Oh it's good to know that you prefer reading and watching movies. I also love to read too just that reading is not my favorite hobby although it's one of the hobbies I have.
Am also glad that you had the opportunity to take part in my movie challenge too and yes technology is making things a lot easier every day at a pace that am beginning to get afraid sometimes. Just few days ago I was discussing with a friend and I asked her if she thinks that many kids of this season will ever have some experience we had in the past like the kinds of poem we sang, the kings of children plays we did and even some subjects in school? She just laughed and said oh no! Kids of this days only care about the recent technology which is not really their fault.

Yes my friend, one time I saw a movie title people kept talking about, I decided to watch it myself and to my surprise when the movie started, it was dry and boring. I just wanted to put it off but because I was feeling bored at home I just decided to focus more on it and before you know it boom the whole setting changed, It became so interesting that I had to rewatch the movie again that same day so yes watching movie sometimes requires patience.
