SNA Contest Week 148: Problem Solving — Family and Relationships
It's natural for humans to think differently and to some, it's very difficult to amend their thinking if situation arises. Most times it becomes a surprise that a couple that loved themselves so much before the marry and now married and are having problems always.
Some men say it's normal for women to act erratic. Some men always feel when women behave like this, they are not being submissive. Some men tolerate their wives and overlook certain offences the wife may commit, in order to maintain peace in the family. Other men won't do that. They feel they are the head of the family and they should be in charge.
Some women on the other hand are provocative with their choice of words which makes men change their attitude or countenance. They compare them with other men and demand a lot of needs. Some women don't respect their husband and some who are well-to-do feel they can take the lead in the family and do so many things without the husband involving themselves in this.
Family problems are of different hierarchy. So the purpose of this contest is for you to help these families with your content, families with problems. There's something you can say that can be meaningful enough to help them rethink.

There are three questions for you to answer and you're to help the case studies solve their problems. You're to choose only 2 from the three
- A man refuses to provide for his family, leaving the responsibility for the wife alone since she has money. He fails to communicate with the wife because he thinks the wife should be submissive by talking to him first and is being disrespectful for that. The wife on the other hand refuses to feed him because he care less about the family. What do you think the man or woman can do to amend their family's problems?
- A mother and father says until their children talks to them before they talk to them. They feel it's the responsibility of the children to talk to them. Now, these children only talk to the parents when they need financial support and can't engage in a meaningful conversation with their parents because they aren't approachable. What do you think the parents or children can do?. Who's at fault?
- A woman has money more than the husband and wants to change things in house and live a stress free life, but the husband doesn't agree to this. He says the wide is spending money unnecessarily because she has the money and is doing things without consulting the husband. The wife can't buy a car even when she has the money because she must consult the husband for them to agree. What do you think the man or the woman should do?
