Agricultural activity : Cassava Harvest And Cultivation

Here I want to relate on my agricultural activity, and this would be my first blog post write up on agricultural activity.

The certainty is that we already enjoying our second quarter of the year , and in terms of agricultural activities on a traditional or local base. Normal local conventional planting period is about to be over.

Because by the next month forward 🌽 corn will be well edible given room for harvest.

For me , though any time I do cultivate apart from the absolute dry period , reason is I make use of small ridges for my cassava cultivation in which am going to showcase before the very end of this write up.

"My experience during my agricultural activity"

Somebody have already shared same nature of such an experience to me and many others also talking about it.

And today I don't want to go into the types of cassava stems we cultivate here locally.

But , due to what I want to share I would mention just that very type of cassava stem.

Honest facts is that , this nature of cassava stem usually known to last six months upon cultivation then you harvest them.

And due to the nature of some soil , though still loamy but not well fertile. The case won't be same . So some people who cultivated such cassava stem would grow them for close to a year.

That's an exact what happened to me. And though on my case it not actually about soil fertility , I intentionally desired to fetched the known fact.

For me i already decided on the numbers of ridges that I would be harvested and replant them altogether.

So , I uprooted the cassava outrightly and on this very smallest ridge and that happened.

"The cassava have already over grown in the soil and decayed all alone without being eaten up by some sorts of insects. And the cassava stem involved here is locally known to be give me chance."

So , when I uprooted them and I till back and cultivated again. Then move to another ridge.

Here, right on that very ridges I had some cassava plants that already last for about a two years , is one of my late planting ridges.

There I captured that image while I have already finished harvested the needed cassava and till back the ridges and cultivated selected cassava stems. Because it wasn't all the stems that yields good cassava tubes.

From there I move to other small ridges of which I did not captured to integrate them within this very write up.

So , finally I move to the last selected ridge for the day.

Here I also have some lesson learnt for myself.

Initially when I cultivated I did , make use of more cassava stems while I applied slight space (gap) on them.

For me not actually mind the reality in termed of the competition involve among plants.

So , some fortunately would get grown very well while others would get stunted.

With that , I already applying the normal spacing so as to enhance well competitiveness among them for good growth and subsequent yields.
